What is the blue label that suddenly pops up in Threads?

Successfully Thoughts Twitter-like functions have been transformed into Threads, a new-generation social service platform that serves relatively young people. After going through a period when its initial functions were not very complete, it has now gradually been regarded as one of the popular services for the rise of young voices.

In order to capture the youthful atmosphere that extends from the relatively youthful service Instagram. Meta can be said to be very active in developing innovative features to maximize the stickiness of the Threads service.

Recently, Adam Morsseri, the head of Instagram/Threads, announced a new feature through his own service as usual.

If you have recently started to see link buttons with blue label text (and a magnifying glass icon at the front) above some Threads posts. You may be wondering what this is.

Before everyone could post questions, Adam Morsseri, the “culprit” of this feature, had already posted a post explaining what the new feature, which has been released in the United States, does.

In fact, if you see “18K posts” behind the blue label text, you should already have an idea. This is basically similar to Instagram’s feature where you can see how many posts have used a Hashtag keyword.

However, at present, it seems that this function does not necessarily require the Hashtag keyword to be generated on text-based Threads – this part is a bit uncertain, but at least for now, if there is a Hashtag keyword, it will be displayed at the back of the article?

To put it simply, although this function seems to be a search button that guides you to certain popular topics. But the actual purpose is to let users discover earlier that some issues are already being discussed heatedly on the Threads service.

Therefore, if you are very interested in cross-articles/crisp articles on certain topics and want to learn more about them. If a blue label appears at the top of it, basically if you click on it, you will see the posts related to it – and they can also be sorted by “popular/recent”.

This can also be regarded as a functional attempt to attract users to be more immersed in various magical texts. Have you seen this feature? You can also share what popular topics you have seen!
