The BT app is now available to EU iOS users. Guess what new moves Apple will make?

For a long time on the iOS platform, BT (Torrenting/BitTorrent)-related applications have been considered to be “often used to infringe third-party rights” and have been excluded from Apple’s official App Store. It has now been confirmed that it can be installed and used through third-party App Store channels open in the EU.

Although this may be considered by many to be just “another country’s affairs”. However, you must know that in the AltStore PAL third-party iOS app store, game simulator apps have been found to be legally available on the shelves a while ago, and even UTM SE apps that can be installed on desktop systems including Windows can follow similar paths.

Basically, although it cannot be said that it is due to the opening of AltStore PAL, a third-party app store available in the EU. But at least according to the pace so far, when AltStore PAL opens a new application type that can be used in third-party application stores without system cracking, Apple’s official application store will also coincide with certain policy changes and loosen the possibility of opening some new applications.

This time, whether you are “seeking seeds” or want to manage BT-related applications on other systems, you can basically get support from AltStore PAL.

The currently open applications include iTorrent and qBitControl. All of them can already be downloaded and used on devices that support the EU third-party application store AltStore PAL without JB cracking; at the same time, the PeopleDrop App dating application has also been opened.

These application types that have been gradually opened on the AltStore PAL 2.1 version are considered to be the result of the European Union’s use of the Digital Markets Act (DMA) to further weaken the closed ecosystem of Apple’s garden wall.

As Apple successively opens up applications that were almost impossible to appear in the official App Store in the past. More and more people are beginning to pay attention to the trends in the iOS third-party app store that will be opened in response to EU regulations.

After the opening of BT-related applications this time, I believe many people will begin to look forward to Apple’s official related actions.
