Although for most people, the functional requirements of “making phone calls”, the most important function that mobile phones were originally designed to achieve, have become less and less important. The “Make a call from” function is one of them.
However, this feature was previously discovered by heavy users and has been silently turned off by the official. Although it caused some dissatisfaction at the time, it was subsequently discovered that Google still left the chrome://flags/ page in the form of a Flag function under the name of “Click to Call”, which should be familiar to many friends who love early adopters.

Although some people are already quite dissatisfied and angry about such changes, and would even describe such a move as “stupid” or “disagreeing with users”. At this stage, the issue “Return Click to Call” has received more than 80 stars. Regardless of whether you just learned the news today (as far as I am concerned, I already make less calls, and the opportunity to send my number through the web page is really rare). But I believe that as long as you find this function convenient enough, you should support bringing it back, right?
That is to say, for these users, they should also want to know why the official suddenly wants to turn off this feature completely – I would guess that it is probably due to usage considerations. But to be honest, if it doesn’t cause a heavy burden on the system, keeping it won’t be a big problem, right? I just hope that whether I stay or not, the official can at least give an explanation.
