You no longer have to worry about getting lost trying to find a store. Today I want to share with you how to enable Apple Maps AR navigation, and also share with you some small precautions for use.

Tutorial on how to use Apple Maps AR navigation, please read this article on how to use it and what to pay attention to.
Although most people are still accustomed to Google Maps, Apple Maps has been quietly updated and optimized in recent years, and it is actually becoming more and more useful. Some time ago, Apple updated many features of Apple Maps, including the addition of the AR navigation feature to be introduced this time. This feature has been available in Google Maps for a while, but better late than never, right?
The AR navigation of Apple Maps allows users to know where to go directly on the iPhone screen through AR, which is a great boon for some users who always cannot understand map navigation!
So, how to turn on the AR navigation function in Apple Maps? First, select the destination for navigation as usual, then select the “walking” movement method and route and press start. At this time, there will be an AR icon on the right side of the iPhone screen. Click it to turn on the AR navigation function.
However, at the current initial limit, it seems that not every city in Taiwan has supported this function. As far as we know, Taipei definitely supports it. If you follow the steps but do not find the AR icon, it means that your city has not yet opened this function!

After turning on the AR navigation function, you need to pick up your phone to scan the surrounding environment in the same way as Google Maps. Then arrows and road names will appear on the screen to guide the user to look to a certain side.

The actual activation process is as follows. You must first raise the iPhone to face the building. Remember to raise the iPhone to face the front!

In addition to prompting routes during the AR navigation process, Apple Maps will also remind the user to “look in this direction” if they look in the wrong direction. To use AR navigation, you need to hold your iPhone upright and face forward to see the path.

When AR navigation is turned on during walking, if the user lowers his head and walks for a period of time, the screen will remind the user to “pay attention to safety: stand still to check the route.” At this time, the user can pause and look up to confirm the route before continuing to move forward.

As for whether turning on the AR navigation function of Apple Maps on iPhone will consume a lot of power? To be honest, when using this function under the bright sun, except for the fact that the iPhone screen is always at full brightness, and the navigation uses positioning, it may not be too noticeable if you move for a short period of time, but if you need to walk a relatively long distance, it will consume relatively much power.
The AR navigation function is still recommended for use in small alleys in cities. After all, the routes are complicated and the store you are looking for may not be far away. Using AR navigation can help you reduce detours.
