Poe also has a web version! No installation required, just open a webpage and chat with AI chatbots from OpenAI and Anthropic

Most AI chatbots today are just a single service. For example, ChatGPT only has ChatGPT, and Bing AI only has Bing AI. For those who want to experience different models of AI chatbots at once, Poe is undoubtedly a good choice, butPreviously Poe was only available on iOS, it must be a pity that neither Android nor computer users can experience it. The good news is that the web version of Poe was finally officially launched a while ago. You can use it as long as you have a browser, and the account is interoperable with the iOS version.

Poe also has a web version! No installation required, just open a webpage and chat with AI chatbots from OpenAI and Anthropic

  • Click me to go to Poe web version

The operating interface of the Poe web version is almost the same as the iOS version, with the feeling of an enlarged version. Those with an account can log in directly, while those without an account can register. Google, Apple and Email registration are supported. No matter which method requires mobile phone number verification:

People who use the iOS version of Poe will see that all chat records are synchronized after logging in to the same account, so there is no need to worry about losing the records. There are currently 6 AI chatbots available, namely Sage, GPT-4, Claude+, Claude-instant, ChatGPT and Dragonfly. Sage and Dragonfly are both provided by OpenAI technology, Claude is based on Anthropic technology, and ChaGPT should go without saying. It is worth noting that GPT-4 and Claude+ are the latest models currently launched, but the free version has a limit on the number of messages per day:

The GPT-4 free version only has 1 message per day, which means it can only ask once:

Claude+ has more, with 3 free messages per day. If you don’t want to be restricted by these 2 AI chatbots, you must upgrade to a paid user:

You can check the number of free messages you have left every day in the settings:

Although the interface is all in English, each AI chatbot can ask questions in Traditional Chinese and get answers in Traditional Chinese. However, every answer to “the recommended option to continue asking shown below” is only in English:

ChatGPT can be used directly without connecting to its own API, which is quite good. Unlike other third-party services, which all need to use their own API:

However, please note that because it is a free service, you may occasionally encounter slow response or interruptions, especially during peak hours. If you encounter this, you can try to reorganize it. If it still cannot be solved, you can only try again later.

Each message you send and the AI chatbot answer can be deleted individually. Move your mouse to the… function next to the message to find the Delete function, or go into the settings and there is a Delete all messages function. Click it to delete all messages in the chat room.

The paid version is currently only available for iOS purchase, and the web version is not yet available. I don’t think the price is cheap, unless you want an AI chatbot that can use different technologies at the same time, otherwise ChatGPT Plus is relatively cheap.
