Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced today that the new PlayStation peripheral product FlexStrike wireless fighting joystick will be officially launched in Taiwan on August 6, 2026, and will be available for pre-order through designated channels starting from June 12. The recommended price is NT$6,580. This is the first time SIE has launched an official joystick specially designed for fighting games, targeting the group of players who pursue high reaction speed and precise operation.

PlayStation FlexStrike Wireless Fighting Stick will be launched on 8/6, and pre-orders will start on 6/12
The FlexStrike wireless fighting joystick supports PS5 and PC, providing two methods of wired mode and PlayStation Link ultra-low latency wireless connection. PlayStation Link is a wireless technology promoted by SIE in recent years. It focuses on low latency, stability and lossless audio transmission. This time it is applied to fighting joysticks for the first time, allowing players to maintain competition-level operating responses in a wireless environment. The device has a built-in rechargeable battery and comes with an exclusive cross-body storage and carrying case, which is convenient for players to carry when going out to practice or participate in competitions.

In terms of design, FlexStrike takes “exclusively for fighting games” as its core concept, using a sturdy and durable shell structure and a comfortable feel suitable for long-term operation. The button configuration and joystick feedback have been adjusted by professional players to ensure accurate input and rapid response, meeting the high requirements of fighting games for operational details.

On the same day that the FlexStrike wireless fighting joystick is launched, a new fighting game “MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls” will be released simultaneously. The PS5 physical version of this game will be available for pre-order on June 12, with a recommended retail price of NT$1,809. The digital version is available for pre-order on PS Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store, offering a variety of versions including standard version, digital deluxe version, and ultimate version.

In addition to the fighting joystick, SIE also released relevant information about its first wireless speaker, PULSE Elevate. PULSE Elevate is designed to be seamlessly integrated into desktop gaming environments such as PS5, PC, and Mac. It also supports PlayStation Portal remote control game consoles and smartphones, allowing players to enjoy a consistent audio experience at home, out, or on the go. This speaker also uses PlayStation Link wireless technology to provide extremely low latency and lossless sound quality, and emphasizes the ability to present more immersive game sound effects. Its recommended selling price and pre-order information will be announced separately in the future.
