Last month’s 3DCenter data showed that the overall average of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series has been lower than -9% of the MSRP. Simply put, all graphics cards are sold cheaper than the recommended selling price. The new generation of RTX 40 series is expected to be released in a few months, with the flagship model launching first. Therefore, the RTX 3080 series and RTX 3090 series have seen the most price drops, especially the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti.
The MSRP of the RTX 3090 Ti abroad is US$1,999. Recently, someone discovered that the EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FTW3 was originally priced at US$2,150, but now it only costs US$1,150, which is about NT$34,500, which is US$1,000 cheaper. This graphics card cost US$1,500 in mid-July, which is equivalent to a discount of US$350 in about half a month. Players who thought they bought it at a low price must be very angry now. At present, it seems that only EVGA has reduced its price so much. The RTX 3090 Ti from other brands still costs 1,300~1,400 US dollars, and you can’t find a price of less than NT$35,000 in Taiwan.
It is worth noting that the previous price cuts of the RTX 3080 series and RTX 3090 series were also started by EVGA, so it is likely that other brands will follow suit. As for whether NVIDIA will launch new game bundles, I don’t know, but some brands have changed to giving away other things. MSI, for example, recently launched a gift of camping equipment when you buy designated graphics card models.
