Earlier OpenAI Launch a brand newChatGPT The “Health” feature allows each user to link their health information, which ChatGPT then analyzes to assess their current health status and provide personalized suggestions. OpenAI emphasizes that this feature was developed in close collaboration with physicians worldwide to ensure the health information provided is responsible and practical.

OpenAI Launches “ChatGPT Health”! Analyzes Your Health Data, Supports Apple Health, Health Records, MyFitnessPal, and More
The new ChatGPT health feature can be found directly in the sidebar.
You can connect health data from various apps within it, such as Apple Health, Function, and MyFitnessPal, and has also partnered with b.well in the United States. When you first connect an app, the system will show you what data the third party may collect, so you can have full understanding. Of course, you can also unlink it anytime when you no longer want to use it. Once unlinked, that app will immediately lose access.
The following applications are currently supported:
- Apple Health
- Function
- MyFitnessPal
- Weight Watchers
- AllTrails
- Instacart
- Peloton
According to OpenAI, this feature is designed to “assist with healthcare,” not to replace professional medical care. Therefore, it cannot be used for diagnosis or treatment—only to help with everyday health questions.
For example, you could ask, “I’ve started using GLP-1 (medication). Please give me a practical, doable week-long daily exercise and diet guide.” ChatGPT would then provide a schedule:
Or ask “Based on my medical history, which of these insurance plans might be the best fit for me?”
Additionally, “Health” will have its own dedicated space in ChatGPT, meaning your conversations, connected apps, and files will all be stored separately from other chats, ensuring that health-related data stays only within this space.
However, when chatting in “Health”, ChatGPT may still use background information from other parts of the conversation outside of “Health”, such as you recently moving or changes in your lifestyle.
Simply put, chat content in “Health” mode is retained only within that environment; however, chat content outside of “Health” may be used in “Health” conversations.
Unlike previous new features, possibly due to the more cautious approach required for health features, currently only a small group of early users has been invited to start experiencing it, with continuous feedback collection throughout the process to keep learning and optimizing the overall user experience.
As the feature continues to mature, it’s expected to roll out more broadly over the coming weeks, allowing all users to access the ChatGPT Health feature on the web and iOS. This means Android users won’t be able to use the new feature for the time being.
