TP-Link today launched three new smart home products in Taiwan, covering two major areas: floor cleaning and outdoor security. The newly introduced Tapo RV50 Pro Omni automatic robot vacuum and mop features free in-home installation and 15,000 Pa of suction power. The Tapo C575D outdoor dual-lens camera enters the security market with a dual-lens design that “replaces two cameras.” The Tapo C660 KIT and Tapo C645D KIT solar-powered camera kits target wire-free green security needs. Additionally, solar versions of the existing C460 KIT and C425 KIT are being released simultaneously. The three new products will be available in Taiwan starting today.

Tapo RV50 Pro Omni: All-in-One Sweeping, Mopping, Washing, and Drying
Users with pets or young children at home know all too well that floor cleaning is practically a never-ending task. The Tapo RV50 Pro Omni delivers a powerful 15,000 Pa suction and a DeepEdge smart mopping system, with a mechanical mopping arm that reaches deep into corners and gaps around furniture, wiping away even the hard-to-reach死角 that are usually difficult to clean. The DeepEdge system uses continuously pressurized mopping action to tackle dried stains and sticky residue, delivering results that go beyond simply dragging a wet mop across the floor. The unit features a brand-new anti-tangle cutting roller brush and triple anti-tangle technology that actively cuts through hair it picks up, significantly reducing wheel jams and the need for manual roller cleaning.

Once cleaning is complete, the base station automatically performs a high-temperature wash and dry cycle, keeping the mop cloth clean and odor-free without requiring the user to manually remove or air-dry it. This all-in-one wash-and-dry design means sweeping, mopping, and the automatic cleaning and drying of the mop cloth all happen within a single integrated process—no separate steps needed. TP-Link also offers free in-home installation, a rarity in the industry, with a specialist handling everything from device delivery to setup. This makes it ideal for those who aren’t familiar with configuring smart home devices. Once you unbox the package, you simply wait for the technician to arrive—no need to read the manual or figure out the app on your own.

Starting today, a trade-in event is launched at the Shopee official flagship store. Trade in any old Tapo robot vacuum to receive a NT$6,000 discount coupon. Place an order on momo Shopping or the Shopee official flagship store, and you’ll also get a Tapo P105 mini smart Wi-Fi plug and a Tapo L536E smart Wi-Fi multicolor bulb, while supplies last.
Tapo C575D: Dual-Lens Outdoor Protection in One Device
The Tapo C575D outdoor dual-lens pan-tilt camera features a two-in-one lens design, equipped with both a 170° ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8mm telephoto lens. The wide-angle lens handles comprehensive panoramic surveillance, while the telephoto lens locks onto details of specific targets, with both operating simultaneously—effectively delivering the work of two cameras in one. It supports 4K 8MP ultra-high definition and 18x digital zoom, ensuring that faces and license plates in the distance remain clearly identifiable even after magnifying the image. With built-in smart tracking, it automatically follows moving objects, making it ideal for outdoor scenes such as driveways, entrances, and yards.

For connectivity, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 with flexible PoE/DC power options—a single Ethernet cable handles both power and data, so installation is no longer restricted by the location of power outlets. Users can choose between wireless or wired deployment, and in environments with existing Ethernet cabling, PoE eliminates the need for a separate power source. The passive infrared (PIR) sensor, combined with smart tracking algorithms, automatically follows and records when detecting moving people or vehicles, making it ideal for dynamic monitoring scenarios such as driveway entrances or corner areas of a courtyard. It also comes with a complimentary one-year Tapo Care cloud service (valued at NT$1,120), offering 30 days of unlimited cloud storage, real-time mobile notifications, smart highlight clips, and weekly activity reports, so users can stay updated on what’s happening at their doorstep even while away from home.

Solar-Powered Battery Cameras: Cable-Free Green Security
For outdoor scenarios where running cables is inconvenient or long-term monitoring is needed, TP-Link is simultaneously launching the Tapo C660 KIT and Tapo C645D KIT, two solar-powered battery Wi-Fi camera kits. Both use a solar panel paired with a battery for power, so no power cable is needed during installation; they can be mounted directly on walls, fences, or any location with sunlight. This makes them a more flexible option than traditional wired cameras for users whose home perimeter has no pre-installed outlets, or who are in rental environments where modifying the electrical setup is not practical.

Tapo C660 KIT is a 4K-resolution model equipped with a high-efficiency solar power system that converts sunlight directly into electricity, enabling continuous operation without any wiring. With an F1.6 large aperture, starlight-grade image sensor, and spotlight, it delivers clear color footage at night or in low-light conditions, rather than the black-and-white images commonly seen with traditional night vision. For outdoor locations such as walls, garages, and courtyards, which often lack pre-installed power outlets, solar power directly removes the biggest installation obstacle.

The Tapo C645D KIT features a 2K dual-lens design, combining a 165° ultra-wide-angle fixed lens with a 6mm rotating telephoto lens. The wide-angle lens handles full-scene coverage, while the telephoto lens can rotate independently for close-up focus, with both working in sync to deliver broad-area monitoring and specific target tracking simultaneously. Built-in free AI detection for people, vehicles, and pets sends instant alerts when events occur, eliminating large amounts of empty footage from continuous recording.
In addition to the two new models, the existing best-selling Tapo C460 KIT and Tapo C425 KIT are also now available in solar battery kit versions, offering green power options from entry-level to flagship. Users can freely mix and match based on their outdoor environment and budget—no need to spend more on a higher-spec model just for solar power, as every price range has a corresponding option.[1]
