The Mijia Car Vacuum Cleaner that Xiaomi launched through crowdfunding in China last May has finally officially arrived in Taiwan! Xiaomi Taiwan’s official website earlier officially listed this car vacuum cleaner at NT$1,999 (currently on a limited-time offer of NT$1,799). Although it is a bit more expensive than expected, the specs have improved accordingly. The Taiwan version highlights 23,000Pa suction and up to 45 minutes of battery life, and it does more than vacuum: with the blower nozzle attached, it can blow dust out of air-conditioning vents and seat crevices, and it can also inflate balloons and compatible air mattresses, making it usable from the car to the home to camping.

Mijia car vacuum cleaner goes on sale in Taiwan! 23,000Pa suction, 45-minute battery life, and it can also blow dust and inflate balloons, priced at NT$1,999.
The “Mijia Car Vacuum Cleaner” is a handheld wireless vacuum designed specifically for use in cars. Key specs include: maximum vacuum pressure of 23,000Pa, maximum overall suction of 60AW, a high-speed brushless motor at 100,000 rpm, 5-stage filtration, a battery made up of 5 cells with up to 45 minutes of runtime, support for 60W USB-C charging, and an included blowing nozzle that can blow away dust and also be used for inflation.
The 23,000Pa suction power is the biggest upgrade in the version launched in Taiwan this time,It’s a slight improvement over the 21,000Pa announced last year for the Chinese crowdfunding version.Compared with the Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner mini, suction power is greatly increased by 76%, with a maximum whole-unit suction power of 60AW. In terms of motor speed, the mini runs at 88,000 rpm, while the Mijia Car Vacuum Cleaner reaches 100,000 rpm:

Xiaomi says the Mijia Car Vacuum Cleaner can easily remove the three most common and hardest-to-clean types of dirt in a car: dust, snack crumbs, and pet hair.
The filtration system has a total of 5 stages, which are:
- Cyclone dust separation system: uses centrifugal force to fling dust and debris away first.
- Metal mesh filter: traps larger particles
- Pre-filter sponge: traps fine dust
- High-density filter cartridge: further removes micron-sized particles
- Rear filter sponge: handles residual dust and releases cleaner air.

The officially published test data shows that the overall filtration efficiency exceeds 99.5%, and the filtration efficiency for 0.3–10 μm particles reaches 99.9%.
Cleaning and maintenance are also pretty simple. The dustbin can be emptied with one button—press it and the dust pours out, so your hands don’t touch anything dirty. The filter components can also be washed with water, so you don’t have to keep buying replacement consumables. However, the dustbin capacity isn’t provided on the Taiwan official website; for now, you can refer to the 150mL announced in last year’s China crowdfunding version:

As for the battery, the Mijia Car Vacuum Cleaner has 5 built-in battery cells. Battery life varies by mode: up to 45 minutes in low-suction mode and up to 10 minutes in high-power mode:

Charging uses a USB-C port and supports 60W fast charging. With a 20V⎓3A PD charger, it takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge. However, neither the charger nor the charging cable is included, so you’ll need to provide your own.
In addition, the main difference between this and a regular handheld vacuum is that it also comes with different accessories for switching uses, including
- Crevice nozzle: Suitable for cleaning gaps between seats and the center console, door-side storage compartments, and other corners.
- Brush nozzle: vacuums while brushing, suitable for cleaning dashboards, screen bezels, leather seats, and other scratch-prone surfaces.
- Wide nozzle: pair with an electrostatic dusting pad to clean large surface areas such as floor mats and car trunks.
- Air nozzle (for dust removal): directly blow out dust that’s hard to vacuum from AC vents, around the gear shifter, and in keyboard crevices.
- Inflation nozzle (for inflation): Quickly inflates balloons and compatible air mattresses.
It also comes with a storage bag, so when you’re not using the whole set, you can store everything in it—that way, it won’t end up scattered all over the trunk:

However, one thing to note about the inflation function is that the inflation nozzle is only suitable for air inlets with a diameter of 16–21 mm. So if you want to use it on an air mattress, remember to check before buying whether the inlet size falls within this range. It also cannot be used to inflate car tires.
Tires need high pressure, while a vacuum cleaner blows out a high-volume, low-pressure airflow. The two have completely different uses. If you want to inflate a tire, you still need a dedicated air pump.
In terms of the unit’s specifications, its dimensions are approximately 297.5 × 138 × 70mm (excluding accessories), its net weight is approximately 965g, and its rated power is 225W.
Besides using it in the car, this is also great as a second vacuum at home. For cleaning keyboards, sofa crevices, window grooves, or snack crumbs dropped on the table, taking out a large vacuum is a hassle, but a body of around 965g makes it much easier.
