GIGABYTE recently officially unveiled the AORUS GeForce RTX 5060 ARI 8G graphics card, marking the first time the AORUS ARI series has expanded from motherboards into the graphics card product line. Previously, GIGABYTE had adopted the “Diao Mei” ARI character theme on motherboards such as the B850M AORUS ELITE ICE-P and B850 AORUS ELITE-P ICE. Now the same anime-style visual language extends to graphics cards, giving gamers looking to build an all-white or anime-themed rig a more complete set of matching options.

This card’s positioning is clear: it builds on RTX 5060 performance and uses visual design plus an unboxing surprise to attract a specific audience. Rather than making it a limited-edition collaboration, Gigabyte has directly placed it in the AORUS lineup, which means we could see more ARI series graphics cards down the line.
AORUS RTX 5060 ARI 8G core specifications: RTX 5060 base, clock speeds on par with the ELITE.
The hardware specifications of the AORUS RTX 5060 ARI 8G are essentially identical to those of Gigabyte’s own AORUS RTX 5060 ELITE 8G. It is powered by the NVIDIA GB206-250 chip, featuring 3,840 CUDA cores, 8GB of GDDR7 memory transmitted via a 128-bit interface, with memory speeds up to 28 Gbps.
The Boost clock is set at 2,722 MHz, a significant increase over NVIDIA’s official reference spec of 2,497 MHz, meaning Gigabyte has applied an out-of-the-box overclock. This is exactly the same overclock as the ELITE version. For the interface, it uses PCIe 5.0, while the outputs are three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b port, with power supplied via a single 8-pin connector.
- GPU:NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060(GB206-250)
- CUDA core:3,840
- Boost clock: 2,722 MHz (reference value 2,497 MHz)
- Memory:8GB GDDR7,28 Gbps,128-bit
- interface:PCIe 5.0
- Output:3× DisplayPort 2.1b、1× HDMI 2.1b
- Power supply:1× 8-pin
- Heat dissipationTriple-fan WINDFORCE
Gigabyte’s product page currently does not indicate the GPU chip designation, and Videocardz notes that this card carries over the existing AORUS ELITE design, so it should be based on GB206 rather than the recently surfaced GB205 version of the RTX 5060. The PCB layouts of GB206 and GB205 differ, and the current ELITE design cannot be directly adapted for the GB205 chip, which also means the ARI version won’t see any hardware specification changes in the near term.
Cooling system: the full WINDFORCE lineup plus server-grade thermal gel
For cooling, the AORUS RTX 5060 ARI 8G is equipped with GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE cooling system, whose core architecture includes three fans, a large copper plate in direct contact with the GPU, multiple composite copper heat pipes, and Screen Cooling technology. The fans adopt GIGABYTE’s patented Hawk fan design, which, according to official data, increases static pressure by 53.6% and airflow by 12.5% while reducing turbulence noise. Among the three fans, adjacent fans are designed with counter-rotating directions to further minimize turbulence between them. The fan bearings use lubricant enhanced with nano-graphene, which the company states helps extend the service life.

For thermal materials, besides the GPU using a large copper plate for direct contact, server-grade thermal gel is used on key components such as VRAM and MOSFET. Gigabyte emphasizes that this gel has high spreadability and does not flow easily, maintaining good contact even on irregular component surfaces and preventing deformation issues during long-term use or transportation.
Exterior design: pure white airflow shroud with ARI character backplate
The biggest difference from the black ELITE version is the appearance. The AORUS RTX 5060 ARI 8G features a pure white shroud with yellow and orange accent lines, while the backplate features a large ARI character illustration. The side is equipped with RGB lighting effects that can sync with other RGB-compatible components.

In terms of construction, it features a metal backplate with bent edges to improve overall rigidity, and the backplate is locked onto the I/O bracket for more secure support. The PCB uses an aerospace-grade protective coating, offering dust, moisture, and oxidation resistance, which helps with long-term use in humid environments. Additionally, the card is equipped with a Dual BIOS design, allowing switching between Performance and Silent modes. Performance mode prioritizes higher clocks and fan speeds, while Silent mode reduces fan noise, so players can adjust based on their usage scenario.
Unboxing surprise: random ARI figurine blind box
Gigabyte has added a collectible element to this graphics card. Each package includes a randomly selected ARI figurine, with five different color variants shipped in blind box format. This approach is becoming increasingly common in anime-themed hardware, using collectible elements to add fun to the unboxing experience and turning the product itself into merchandise for fans to collect.

The next step in the ARI series
ARI “Jade Maiden” is an original anime-style character created by Gigabyte AORUS, first appearing on the AORUS motherboard series. Starting with the B850M AORUS ELITE ICE-P, Gigabyte has gradually expanded ARI’s character image to more product lines. Now that graphics cards have joined the lineup, players can pair the ARI motherboard with this graphics card to build a themed PC with a unified look.
Currently, Gigabyte has not announced the exact pricing and launch dates for the AORUS RTX 5060 ARI 8G in various regions. Based on the pricing strategy of the ARI series motherboards, this card’s price should be slightly higher than the AORUS ELITE version with the same specifications, but the exact difference still awaits Gigabyte’s official announcement.
Use Cases and Buying Considerations
Given the performance positioning of the RTX 5060, this card is suitable for gaming at 1080p resolution and everyday content creation. The 8GB GDDR7 memory paired with a 128-bit interface is sufficient for most needs under mainstream game settings, but if the goal is 4K resolution or high-quality ray tracing, you may need to step up to a higher-tier model.
The main considerations for purchasing this card are still its appearance and collectible value. If players already own an ARI series motherboard, pairing it with a graphics card from the same series can unify the overall system style. If players simply like a pure white color scheme with anime elements, this is also one of the few options in the RTX 5060 tier offering this kind of visual style. The inclusion of a blind box figure, while not affecting performance, does add to the product’s buzz and collectible appeal.
