Netflix is pushing spatial audio to “all stereo devices”, and the latest season of “Stranger Things” has support!
Netflix uses Sennheiser AMBEO-enabled sound technology that can improve stereo sound quality, so that “no matter what device or streaming solution is used, you can enjoy an immersive surround sound experience without the need for surround sound speakers or home theater equipment.” This is an extension of Netflix’s “Apple Spatial Audio” support for Apple devices including Apple TV, iPhone and iPad, and the “Spatial Audio on Netflix” experience in cooperation with Sennheiser technology.
