As graphics cards plummet, it can be said that it is completely different from the situation two years ago. Not only is the price cheaper, but there are more and more choices. Therefore, many players may find it difficult to choose. Which graphics card has the highest CP value? Recently, well-known hardware foreign media announced the latest list of graphics cards with the highest CP value, which should be able to give you a good reference. They range from 1080p, 2K to 4K game image quality. I will sort it out for you below.

When choosing a graphics card, the most important thing is to look at what types of games you mainly play and whether they are AAA masterpieces. Then, compare the game’s official recommended hardware with well-known benchmarking data databases, and finally choose the graphics card that best meets your needs. However, this process is time-consuming, and not everyone is so familiar with graphics cards and benchmarking scores, so directly choose from foreign media. Compiled by TechSpotIf you choose from this list, at least you won’t be too far off.

As in the past, TechSpot selected 6 games for comparison from 50 game test data, namely “Red Dead Redemption 2”, “Rainbow Six: Siege”, “Far Cry 6”, “Assassin’s Mission 3”, “Dying Light 2: The Battle of Humanity” and “Tomb Raider: Shadow”.

The test platforms all use Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor, DDR4-3600 CL 16 memory, and the Resizable RAR function is enabled.

The first is 1080p. The graphics card with the highest CP value is AMD Radeon RX 6600. The second place is also AMD, Radeon RX 6600 XT, and then 6500XT. Although NVIDIA has also dropped its price now, it is not as much as AMD. Therefore, only the RTX 3060 ranks in the top five. However, compared to April, the cost per FPS of this card has gradually become closer to that of the 6600 XT. If the price continues to drop, it may continue to move forward:

Next is the 2K part (1440p), which was also won by AMD. It was also the RX 6600 that won the honor of having the highest CP value. However, the second place was replaced by the RX 6700 XT. However, the price difference between the two is a bit large and the levels are not the same, so it depends on the gaming needs of the players.

Some people may think that compared to NVIDIA graphics cards, the RX 6700 XT has fewer features, such as not supporting DLSS and poor ray tracing. For this reason, TechSpot said that compared to the RTX 3060 Ti of the same level, the CP value is poor and the 1440p rasterization technology is slow, and the price is $30 higher, so the RX 6700 XT still wins:

If you are looking for an NVIDIA graphics card with the closest rasterization performance to the 6800XT, the RTX 3080 Ti is it, but they do not recommend it. They even say that NVIDIA high-end graphics cards are not worth buying because the current CP value is still very poor.

Finally, in terms of 4K image quality, NVIDIA has finally regained its reputation a little bit. Many graphics cards have moved forward in the rankings, but the first place is still won by AMD, which is the RX 6700 XT. However, even so, the additional features provided by NVIDIA’s high-end graphics cards are still recommended, especially compared with April, the CP value this month is higher. The only thing I don’t recommend is the RTX 3090 series, especially the RTX 3090 Ti. The cost is much higher than the RTX 3080 Ti, but the game performance is not much higher:

Generally speaking, TechSpot does not recommend buying high-end graphics cards at this time, because a new generation of high-end graphics cards may be launched near the end of the year, while mid-range and low-end graphics cards will not be available until next year.
