Although Xiaomi has previously launched coffee machine products, such as the Mijia semi-automatic espresso machine, they are all large-scale and are only suitable for home or office use. Just earlier, Xiaomi’s first portable “Mijia Portable Coffee Machine” was finally unveiled. With it, you can easily make a cup of coffee when going out, camping, traveling or working in the company, and it supports both capsules and coffee powder. In terms of price, the crowdfunding price is currently only RMB 559, and shipments are expected to begin on June 25, 2026.

Xiaomi’s first portable coffee machine unveiled! 20Bar, heatable extraction, supports coffee capsules and coffee powder
The main feature of the “Mijia Portable Coffee Machine” launched by Xiaomi this time is to shrink the common extraction function of Italian coffee machines into a bottle-sized body. It uses an electromagnetic pump, and the peak pressure of the water pump can reach up to 20Bar. With 92°C heated extraction, the official claims that it can release coffee oil and aroma more stably:

However, it should be noted that 20Bar is the peak pressure of the water pump, and 92°C is the temperature that the product can reach when heated for extraction. The source of both data is marked as Ulimeiye Electrical Laboratory, so the more accurate terms are “maximum reachable” and “reachable”. The same value is not always maintained for every extraction:

It supports two coffee sources. You can use coffee capsules or coffee powder, which is very convenient. If you want to save trouble, use capsules. If you want to pick beans, grind powder, and adjust the taste yourself, you can also use coffee powder mode:

Another main feature is the “45-second hot and cold rapid extraction”. According to the instructions, adding hot water can quickly extract Italian espresso, and adding cold water can quickly extract American cold coffee, eliminating the need for additional heating steps. It is very suitable for a quick cup when going out.
However, there is also a note at the bottom of the official page. The 45-second data is based on pouring cold water, room temperature water, and hot water into the heating cup respectively and then starting the rapid extraction in sequence. The longest measured time is 45 seconds.
In terms of battery life, the official stated that when fully charged, if you use the fast extraction mode and add water to the 50mL water level of the heating cup, and repeat extraction until the water pump stops, up to 400 rapid extractions can be completed. However, if you switch to the heating extraction mode, that is, heat the normal temperature water at 25±2°C to 92°C before extracting, you can make 3 cups continuously:

It has three built-in 2500mAh batteries and supports 45W Type-C charging. It takes about 30 minutes to charge from 20% to 80% and can be fully charged in about 80 minutes.
Xiaomi also mentioned that when the battery is low, it can be connected to a power bank or charger for use. This is very important for outdoor use. After all, the most feared thing about a portable coffee machine is taking it out only to find that it is out of battery:

Since it is portable, it is of course also IP55 dustproof and waterproof:
