Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, who has recently mentioned many Apple ecosystem revelations through news special topics. This time, the possibility of a “display” feature on the iPhone was mentioned again. At present, it seems that the iPhone 14 Pro is rumored to support a variable screen refresh rate as low as 1Hz, which is the same as the Apple Watch, which can also meet this specification and is the first time in the Apple ecosystem (starting with Series 5) to support the display effect. Perhaps this means that the official hopes that the hardware will meet the standards before being willing to bring such a feature to the iPhone.
However, if Apple chooses to announce this support at WWDC22 before the next-generation iPhone is released, maybe users of older Apple smartphones still have a glimmer of hope to obtain this feature through the iOS 16 update?
