I don’t know if AMD graphics cards are not selling very well or for other reasons. AMD has been making frequent moves recently. When Intel launched the Arc graphics card series,I once posted a joke, launched a few days ago “game bundle“, and then recently released a comparison table of RX 6000 vs RTX 30 series to tell players how high the CP value of AMD graphics cards is.

AMD officially releases RX 6000 vs RTX 30 series comparison table: Our graphics card has a higher CP value
Earlier, Frank Azor, chief architect of AMD’s gaming solutions, shared a chart illustrating the potential of AMD graphics cards and how high the performance is in terms of CP value in dollars. All graphics cards are AMD Radeon RX 6000 series, which also includes the just-launched RX 6x50XT series.

It looks like AMD is comparing every RX 6000 series card except the RTX 3090 Ti to the similarly priced RTX 30 series. AMD’s fastest RX 6000 series graphics card is the RX 6950XT. Compared with the GeForce RTX 3090, the FPS performance per dollar is 80% higher, the power consumption is 15W less, and the price is $600 cheaper.
But this is not the biggest difference, RX 6400 vs GTX 1050 Ti is. The RX 6400 offers up to 89% higher FPS per dollar than the GTX 1080 Ti, consumes 22W less power, and is $32 cheaper.
The closest performance is RX 6800XT vs RTX 3080. The price of the two graphics cards is the same, and the average FPS is not much different. However, the power consumption of RTX 3080 is higher.
In summary, no matter which AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card it is, its performance is better than that of its competitors NVIDIA RTX 30 series, GTX 1650, and GTX 1050Ti. It is completely like announcing to players that the CP of our AMD graphics cards crushes NVIDIA, and you should choose us.

However, one thing to note is that this chart is based on Newegg’s May 10 pricing. GPU prices have continued to fall recently, so it may be different now. If the subsequent NVIDIA RTX 40 series graphics cards fall back to their original prices, the AMD graphics card CP value will not be as high as this chart indicates.
As a longtime gamer I’m grateful for the renewed competition in high-end graphics, we all win from it. As an @AMD employee I’m super proud of what our @Radeon team has accomplished. #gamingpc pic.twitter.com/6Rs9kjG9UD

In any case, one thing that is certain is that AMD is now trying various methods to increase sales of the Radeon RX 6000 series, but whether it can convince players to choose AMD graphics cards is another matter.
The price changes of NVIDIA RTX 30 series graphics cards calculated by foreign media Techspot in April have slowly dropped to close to the original price:

The RX 6000 series has fallen relatively quickly. Not only have some of them returned to their original prices, but the RX 6600 is also cheaper. It’s no wonder AMD is so nervous. At this rate, there may be more RX 6000 series graphics cards sold at lower original prices:
