Although Intel launched the ARC series notebook graphics cards as early as the end of March, the related notebooks are currently only in South Korea, so the actual test part is only the A350M entry-level graphics card shared by a Korean YouTuber last month. Recently, another graphics card data has appeared: A370M. Recently, PCWorld got the opportunity to test it first. The test results show that although this graphics card cannot catch up with the RTX 3060, it is as good as the RTX 3050. The performances were similar, some even won.

Intel ARC A370M has been tested by foreign media

Recently, foreign media PCWorld went to Intel headquarters to test the ARC 370M laptop graphics card. The laptop used was MSI Summit E16 Flip Evo. In addition to running 3DMark scores, it also tested some popular games.

Before starting to look at the scores, here are also the specifications of the Intel ARC A370M. The A370M has a full 8 Xe core ACM-G11 GPU, has 4GB GDDR6 memory, TGP can run between 35 and 50W, and the overall specifications are very similar to the RTX 3050M).

The first is 3DMark Time Spy. The Intel A370M scored 4405, far ahead of Intel’s own Iris Xe. Compared with competitors, it also surpassed the HP Specter x360 16 (NVIDIA RTX 3050), which is similar to another ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 OLED, which is also equipped with NVIDIA RTX 3050. As for RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3060, there is a gap:

However, in the “Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker” game test of the A370M, it was slightly inferior to the HP Specter x360 16, and the gap was not big:

“Tomb Raider: Shadow” is even better. In the highest setting of 1080p, the A370M can provide 59FPS and the RTX 3050 can provide 50FPS. Another thing to note here is that the Intel Iris Xe graphics card cannot provide a smooth gaming experience in this setting, only 21FPS, and now the A370 can. RTX 3060 is way ahead:

“Thriller Tunnel: Exile Enhanced Edition” also uses 1080p high-definition settings. Intel Iris Xe does not meet the minimum system requirements of the game, so it cannot run. A370M will do. The test results are slightly lower than the RTX 3050 3FPS:

Overall, Intel’s two entry-level notebook discrete graphics cards, the A350M and A370M, seem to be locked in with the rival RTX 3050. The A370M can easily play 3D games of the previous generation, as well as content creation that requires the use of more GPUs.

The A550M, which is expected to be launched this summer, may compete with the RTX 3060 (or RTX 3050Ti?), while the ARC 7 series is locked to the RTX 3070 series.

In any case, I don’t think this benchmark is the final version.Because it was previously reported that the driver of the ARC graphics card has not yet been fully optimized.。
