Apple’s annual developer conference WWDC 2026 has ended on June 12, and we have successively reported on the many new features and system updates announced by the iPhone manufacturer during the keynote speech. Apple continues to promote platform integration

Apple has a long history of showcasing the iPhone’s imaging capabilities on a variety of occasions. Clues about foldable devices
The foldable iPhone has been long-awaited, but the official launch time is still unclear. Recent news has pointed out that Apple is still adjusting the hinge design, so the iPhone Fold may be delayed. However, Apple seems to have left clues in the system. Some developers found internal code related to the folded state in the iOS 27 beta version. according to Macworld Verification, the code contains parameters such as “foldState” and “angleDegrees”, which are used to determine whether the device is folded and the folding angle. Currently, no existing Apple products use these state values.

Cook’s final WWDC
Tim Cook joined Apple in 1998 and has been with the company for nearly three decades. After taking over as CEO in 2011, he led Apple to launch a number of new product lines, including Apple Watch, AirPods, Apple Vision Pro, Apple Silicon, and services such as Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Pay, Apple Arcade, and Apple Fitness+, significantly expanding Apple’s business territory.
WWDC 2026 is the last large-scale event under Tim Cook’s tenure. The successor is hardware director John Ternus, who will officially take office on September 1. This conference also symbolizes Apple’s entry into a new era.
