Every Christmas, LINE launches super cute Christmas chat room effects, and this year is no exception. How to find the cute Bear, Bunny and Sally that are limited to Christmas this year? Just enter the specified keyword in the chat room during the event period to summon!

From now on (21st) to 10:00 on December 27, 2021, users only need to enter any of the three keywords “Christmas”, “Happy”, and “Xmas” in the LINE chat room, and they will see super cute characters appear in the background!
This year’s LINE Christmas special effects are applicable to LINE iOS 9.15.0 (inclusive) and above, LINE Android 10.2.0 (inclusive) and above (and Android 7.1 and above), and LINE PC version 5.19.0 (inclusive) and above.
LINE Snow forecast!
It doesn’t matter if you can’t go abroad to enjoy the snow. LINE’s official trailer will take the lead in launching the first “first snow” of this year on the LINE computer version at 10:00 on December 23, 2021. The snow special effects in the computer version of the chat room will continue until 18:00 on December 24, 2021. Then all day long on Christmas Day (December 25), it will also snow in chat rooms on LINE mobile.
LINE snow effects are applicable to iOS 9.15.0 (inclusive) and above, LINE Android 10.2.0 (inclusive) and above (and Android 7.1 and above), and LINE PC version 4.8.0 (inclusive) and above.
How to turn off/on chat room background effects?
If you enter the above keywords during the event but the chat room background effects do not appear, you can first close and reopen the LINE App, then go to “Settings” > “Chat” to confirm whether the “Chat Room Background Effects” function is turned on.
Of course, if you don’t want the chat room background effects to be triggered accidentally due to “accidental” mention of keywords in the message content while chatting, you can also turn off the chat room background effects function from the settings.
