In addition to pushing videos from channels subscribed by users, the YouTube homepage will also push video content that other users “might like” based on the videos the user has watched in the past. In addition, YouTube posts from related channels will appear randomly on the homepage. However, the comments under YouTube posts originally had to be manually clicked by users to expand and display, which also took up some time for users who just wanted to browse quickly.
However, the latest experimental feature “Preview Post Comments” recently launched by YouTube for Premium members can improve this problem. Users only need to view the popular comments of a post without leaving the news page.
As for how to turn on this function? except through YouTube Experimental Features Page (Click here to go)To turn it on, users can also click “Try New Features” in the settings within the YouTube App to turn it on.
These new experimental features are available one at a time, just click “Try Now” to get started. Currently, the trial of the new feature “Preview Post Comments” is tentatively scheduled to be open until December 6, 2021. This feature only supports iOS and Android mobile devices). It is not ruled out that these new features may be extended or ended early. You can still pay attention to YouTube’s official announcement about the relevant timetable.

The “Download Videos Through Browser” experimental feature of the YouTube desktop version that we introduced before is open for trial. Picture-in-picture feature for iOS devices (end date: January 31, 2022)
YouTube has been rolling it out to Premium iOS users for some time.Picture-in-picture function”, this feature allows users to continue to watch YouTube videos through the mini player while using other applications. The current trial of this feature has been extended to January 31, 2022.
Although the picture-in-picture function of iOS devices is still listed in the “Experimental Features”, the author discovered earlier that even if the experimental function is not turned on to try this function, it can still be used if the “Picture-in-Picture” function is turned on in “Settings” > “General” > “Picture-in-picture”.
