It has been almost a year since the NVIDIA RTX 30 series and AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards were launched. Generally speaking, since the products have been out for so long, they should have dropped in price. However, this is not the case for graphics cards. Recently, foreign YouTubers calculated that the latest market prices are almost twice the original price, especially for the NVIDIA RTX 30 series. Moreover, near the end of the year, there are Black Friday and Christmas shopping seasons abroad. This situation is not only unsolvable, but may also become more serious.

RTX 30 Series and Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards are twice the original price

Recently, the foreign Hardware Unboxed channel calculated the average price of NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards on eBay in the past few months, and compared it with the original price. The NVIDIA RTX 30 series is considered the most exaggerated among them all. Even though some of them have been launched for more than a year, buying them now still costs twice the original price.

Except for the RTX 3080 Ti, the other RTX 30 series are more than twice the original price. The RTX 3060 Ti is the most expensive, with an increase of 136%, an increase of 10% compared with last month, and the price of 946 US dollars has almost caught up with the original price of the RTX 3080 Ti. It is really exaggerated:

Three AMD RX 6000 series cards have more than doubled in price, namely RX 6800XT, RX 6800 and RX 6700 XT. The RX 6800 has the largest increase among all graphics cards, reaching 144%. It could be bought for US$580, but now it costs US$1,413:

NVIDIA’s second-hand graphics cards are no exception. They all have increased, especially the RTX 2060 Super. The new original price was US$400. Now if you want to buy a second-hand used one, you have to spend US$732, an increase of 83%:

The GTX 1660 Super is the most ridiculous, with an increase of 126%. The original price is 230 US dollars, but now the second-hand price is 520 US dollars, and this model has been launched two years ago:

Among all NVIDIA graphics cards now, only the GTX 1080 can be bought at a lower price than the original price. The price is currently reduced by 15%, only $508, but the price is actually very expensive, because this one was launched in mid-2016, and it has been 5 years. The graphics card 5 years ago has only dropped in price a little… Others have also increased:

The same goes for the AMD RX 5000 series, and all are more than double the original price:

The second-hand prices of RX Vega 64, RX Vega 56, RX 590, RX 580, and RX 570 from several years ago are all more expensive than the original price:

This weekend is the annual major Black Friday in foreign countries, and there will be Christmas next month. In addition, the current cryptocurrency is still at a high-end position. Unsurprisingly, the prices of all graphics cards should become higher next month.
