In recent years, short video content has become popular. In order to provide LINE users with more interesting, richer and more diverse services, LINE Taiwan officially announced yesterday (8) that the current “LINE Post Stream” service will undergo a major revamp and transformation and be renamed “LINE VOOM” at the end of this month. It will be committed to promoting localized high-quality content on the short video creation platform and bringing more interesting and rich video creations.

Yesterday (8) LINE officially announced that “LINE Post Stream” will be fully upgraded and transformed into a short video and audio creation community platform “LINE VOOM” with the LINE 11.20.0 version update, and the name of VOOM is also derived from the English Va-Va Voom , with both meanings of “Video＋Room” and “Video＋Boom”, symbolizes the short video trend in recent years, which is fully powered, exciting, energetic and attractive.
LINE officials also simultaneously released the new user interface of “LINE VOOM” in the LINE 11.20.0 version update. Users can find in the image and text menu at the bottom of the LINE application that the original “LINE post string” has been renamed and renamed “LINE VOOM”. In the future, “recommended” video and audio posts will also be used as the homepage. Posts from friends, favorite creators or brands that the user has followed will be displayed on the “Following” page.
Other highlights:
- LINE’s new interface design will be released with LINE 11.20.0 version. When the version is released, as long as users update to this version (or above), the new interface will be automatically applied.
- LINE users around the world may become targets of tracking, and any creator or celebrity who wants to be tracked can be added to the tracking list instantly. In the future, posts from the original user’s LINE friends will not be automatically displayed. If you want to continue to see posts from specific friends, you can choose to add specific LINE friends to the tracking list.
- It is expected that starting from 10:00am on November 23, 2021 (Tuesday), Taiwan time, the system will “automatically” turn on the “Allow Tracking” setting, and users can manually adjust to turn off Allow Tracking.
