There’s more and more AI-generated image and video content out there these days—can you really tell what’s real and what’s AI-made? Kapwing, a foreign video creation platform, has launched an AI video quiz that puts your skills to the test, showing you a series of videos to see if you can correctly identify which ones are AI-generated. All you AI detection experts out there, come take the quiz and see how much you really know about AI-generated videos!

Challenge your AI discernment: Can you tell which videos are AI-generated?

Nowadays, images and videos that are hard to tell apart from reality often appear online. I’m sure many people, while surfing the web, come across certain content and wonder whether it was AI-generated. In the past, AI used to make mistakes when generating hand details, so people could tell whether an image was AI-generated by examining the hands. However, technology keeps improving, and AI has become much better at rendering hand details. Sometimes, looking at the hands alone is no longer enough to determine whether something is real or fake. If you’re interested in learning how to identify AI-generated image content, you canProceed to take the AI human recognition test.See how much you understand about AI-generated content.

As technology advances, it’s now not just AI-generated images that are hard to tell apart from real ones—AI-generated videos are also quite difficult to distinguish. The text-to-video tool we introduced earlier, “Hailuo AI Creative Video PlatformThe quality of the generated video is quite good; if it weren’t mentioned as AI-generated, you wouldn’t notice any flaws just by watching it.

Okay, you have to see this.

I asked @Hailuo_AI to show a woman going from happy to sad, then crying and covering her face with hands.

I was honestly shocked AF!

We live in a world where emerging AI video editing technology and deepfakes are used—can you really tell whether the video you’re watching right now is real or AI-generated? Foreign video creation platform Kapwing has launched an AI video quiz, letting everyone confirm through a simple test whether they have the ability to discern AI-generated content.

Proceed to take the AI video test.

Kapwing’s AI video quiz offers 10 videos, each about 10 to 20 seconds long, to see if you can tell whether the video content is real or fake within those few seconds. The quiz features videos of celebrities such as Trump, Taylor Swift, Musk, Biden, and Beyoncé, to see if people can actually tell the difference between real and fake.

The test method is simple: after watching each video, choose whether you think it is a “Real Video” or “Fake Video.”

If you choose incorrectly, the quiz will tell you exactly where you went wrong. Note that some videos contain real footage, but the statements made in them may not be real. As long as everyone pays attention to this, it should be easier to guess which videos are real and which are fake.

The editor thought they already had a good understanding of the flaws in AI-generated content, but only managed to score six out of ten. You can go test it yourself and see how you score. Some videos that look very much like real people are actually AI-generated — you’ll see that just by watching.
