This man wears black-rimmed glasses and holds a pearl milk tea in his hand, and even his hairstyle has a very Taiwanese vibe. This AI-generated photo has attracted the attention of many Taiwanese people, with some netizens even saying they must have seen him at a department store food court.

Japanese netizens @dandohque posted on his Twitter a photo of a Taiwanese man generated using AI. In the photo, the man’s hairstyle, glasses, the drink in his hand, and the clothes he wears all have a distinctly Taiwanese feel. After Taiwanese netizens came across this AI-generated photo of a Taiwanese man, they shared it across various social platforms. Many said it looked familiar, as if they had seen him somewhere before.

Some netizens even shared this photo with the caption that this guy is almost certainly named Chen, first name Po-han, and beneath the post there really was a netizen named Chen Po-han with a strikingly similar hairstyle and glasses who commented saying he happens to actually be named Chen Po-han. Do you all think they look alike?
Japanese netizens @dandohque In addition to this AI-generated photo of a Taiwanese man, other AI-generated scenes of Taiwanese men commonly seen by Japanese people were also created. @dandohque even started ataiwanaiboys’s An Instagram account dedicated to sharing these images. You can see a man wearing a helmet buying water at a convenience store, sitting on a motorcycle eating fried chicken, and other sights you’d see on the roads in Taiwan.
