Allowing everyone to no longer waste hours on transcripts. Aiello, the company behind the AI voice open platform, has combined their technology with the popular OpenAI GPT large language model to create Vocol AI, a service that can generate voice conversation transcripts and provide topic summaries through AI. Recently, they quietly added a new “Translation (Beta)” button in the transcript field in the interface.

As a devoted Vocol AI user, I also immediately tried out the newly added “transcript translation” feature.
After clicking in, you can select from a wide range of languages for translation. Although it’s still in beta testing, Vocol AI still charges a small number of V-points. In my testing, translating a transcript from an online meeting of about 12 and a half minutes into English only costs 1.5 V-points. That’s actually quite minimal. The system will start the translation process after confirming the point deduction, and then notify you via email once the translation is complete.

According to Vocol AI’s current instructions, there are a few points to note:
The original verbatim transcript will still be preserved, and comments can be made on the translated version.
