Many people want to make a small fortune through virtual currency, so we see a shortage in the graphics card market. Under the power of miners to sweep goods, the graphics card market can be said to have officially triggered a wave of panic buying, making the major graphics card manufacturers make a small fortune, and even scalpers got a piece of the pie. However, these are bad things for consumers. Because graphics cards with mid-to-high performance are always hard to come by, otherwise you have to spend more money to assemble a computer to purchase them. Recently, the specifications and computing power of NVIDIA’s new graphics card RTX 3080 Ti have been exposed. This information makes people feel both happy and worried. I am happy that NVIDIA has a new product with good performance and good price available, but I am worried that the computing power of this new card is still strong, and whether it will arouse the covetousness of miners, making the new card become a new product that can be seen but not eaten:

Foreign computer components forum VideoCardz has always had information about many new graphics cards, and many revelations also come from here. Recently, the website posted various specifications of the RTX 3080 TI. Judging from the information currently available, this new card will be released at least in May, but whether it will be easy to buy after it is launched is another matter. After all, it’s no longer news that miners are snatching up graphics cards these days, and graphics card manufacturers’ attempts to seal off computing power have long been seen through. Therefore, even though it can be expected to be a 3D graphics card with excellent performance, consumers must be mentally wondering whether these cards will become a cloud in the sky, visible and intangible.
The RTX 3080 Ti has been rumored to be launched this year not long ago, but this is the first time that the launch date is so certain in May. In addition to the appearance, what has been known so far also includes some specifications that are not yet complete, but we can already get a glimpse of the outline. The chip will be modeled as GA102-225, have 10,240 Cuda Cores, and be equipped with 384-bit 12GB GDDR6X display memory. It can be said that the general specifications of the RTX 3080 Ti are approximately between the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. The actual performance has yet to be verified:

▲The known clock speeds of RTX 3080 Ti are slightly lower than RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. Whether the data is true still needs to be verified.
According to NVIDIA’s current practice, the new graphics cards launched next will have the original mining computing power limiting function, thereby somewhat restraining the phenomenon of miners’ frantic grabs leading to supply falling short of demand. But what’s interesting is that the computing power of the RTX 3080 Ti has also been exposed recently. The card has a computing power of 118.9 MH/s on ETH currency, but this value comes from the results of internal testing. The current test data should be close to the actual computing power of the original graphics card. However, mining restrictions will definitely be added when shipping. Therefore, to what extent the actual computing power will be limited still depends on how NVIDIA responds to the ability to crack the limited computing power:
