In order to optimize the configuration of update support, LINE will stop supporting LINE PC version application updates for operating systems below Windows 7, 8, and macOS 10.13 (inclusive) from around the end of May. In other words, after terminating support for LINE PC version application updates, if you “do not delete” the LINE PC version application you are using, you can still use it, but you will not be able to update to the PC version 7.0.0 in the future. Of course, you will not get new features or upgrades in the future.
LINE will separately announce the exact end of support update time. Before that, you can first confirm the version of the computer operating system you are using. If it is higher than the version that will end support this time, you do not need to take any special measures. If you are a user of an old version of Windows computer system and have deleted the LINE PC version accidentally or due to various problems such as computer reloading, you will still be able to use it at that time.Download again from the official websiteThe computer version of LINE can be used, but it cannot be updated to LINE 7.0.0 or above. If you are a user of an older version of macOS, you must upgrade your operating system before re-downloading the app after accidentally deleting it.
So if you are a macOS user, please be careful and never delete the LINE application on your computer. If your computer is old and is not supported by the system version upgrade, you will not have the computer version of LINE to use.
