Global AI ecosystem tech brand HONOR recently entered the Taiwan market and has been actively expanding its product and service footprint. As another key annual new product, the HONOR 600 series, prepares to launch in Taiwan, the brand has chosen Taiwan’s most popular professional baseball culture as its entry point, announcing a partnership with Videoland TV to co-support Taiwan professional baseball development and inviting popular cheerleading queen Lee Da-hye to serve as the “HONOR 600 Smart AI Creative Ambassador.” Through this three-in-one combination of sports events, celebrity influence, and AI creation experiences, HONOR aims to demonstrate its commitment to deeply cultivating the Taiwan market while building momentum and attention for the upcoming new device launch.

HONOR 600 Series Launching in Taiwan on July 7, Teaming Up with Vidol TV and Lee Da-hye to Cheer for Local Baseball

HONOR combined the “glory” spirit of its brand with the passionate atmosphere of Taiwan’s professional baseball scene, partnering with Videoland Television for the first time and targeting Tianmu Baseball Stadium as a key exposure venue. According to the official press release, Lee Da-hye’s new phone commercial premiered on the big screen at Tianmu Baseball Stadium on the evening of July 3, with multiple large-scale advertising visuals released simultaneously to build momentum for the upcoming HONOR 600 series. For a brand that has just entered the Taiwan market, choosing a landmark sports venue like Tianmu Baseball Stadium for its first large-scale offline exposure campaign not only allows rapid reach to a broad fan base but also leverages Lee Da-hye’s exceptional popularity in Taiwan’s professional baseball community to close the distance with local consumers.

This also marks Lee Du-hye’s first cross-industry collaboration with a smartphone brand. In the debut video, she utilized the AI image-to-video feature of the HONOR 600 series to create dazzling magic effects, and joked in Taiwanese Hokkien with a clever pun: “What AI can do is AI; what it can’t do is BI (sadness),” becoming a memorable moment for the audience. The video was displayed on the stadium’s big screen and subsequently released on HONOR Taiwan’s official social media platforms, further expanding its reach.

AI Image-to-Video 2.0: One-Click Creation from Static Photos to Dynamic Videos

The HONOR 600 series’ core highlight is the industry-first AI Image to Video feature, known as AI Image to Video 2.0 in international markets. This feature is built on a unified multimodal video generation model that integrates video generation, understanding, and editing into a single workflow, capable of processing text, images, and even existing videos as input simultaneously. HONOR states this is the industry’s first time directly integrating a unified multimodal video generation model into a smartphone.

In terms of operation, users can combine up to three static photos with natural language prompts to generate 3 to 8-second videos. The new version emphasizes “visual consistency,” utilizing multi-angle subject construction technology to maintain structural coherence for generated characters and scenes during complex transitions or camera movements. Additionally, the system includes built-in cinematic templates featuring effects like bullet time and the Hitchcock zoom, lowering the barrier to professional editing. According to HONOR’s data, previous-generation HONOR 400 series users have created over 13.4 million seconds of AI video content, demonstrating the widespread potential of such features.

At the hardware level, the HONOR 600 series comes equipped with a dedicated AI physical button. A single press can launch the image-to-video feature directly from the gallery or supported apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, and X, making the creative workflow more streamlined. HONOR also emphasizes that AI Image to Video 2.0 has been enhanced in terms of privacy and data security, with related computations following on-device privacy protocols to reduce the risk of personal content leakage.

One-Click Dream Maker: Million-Dollar Prize Invites Everyone to Create

To give Taiwanese consumers early access to the HONOR 600 series, HONOR announces the “One-Touch Dream” campaign running from today through July 31. Centered on the AI image-to-video feature, the campaign offers three ways to participate:

  • AI Creation Challenge for EveryoneVisit the HONOR Taipei Syntrend Experience Store or any designated FarEasTone store to try out the new device, create content using the AI image-to-video feature, and upload it to the event website for a chance to win an HONOR 600 Pro. The first 3,000 participants will also receive LINE POINTS as a thank-you gift.

The total prize value of the entire event exceeds NT$1 million. HONOR hopes that through low-barrier voting and creation mechanisms, ordinary consumers can experience the fun of AI-generated video creation firsthand. The event website has already started gathering creative works, and whether or not you purchase a device, you can participate in the raffle by voting.

Experience it first at offline retailers — full launch details to be revealed on July 7

HONOR’s expansion in Taiwan continues, with the brand opening its first experience store in the country at Syntrend Creative Park on May 1st. The company has also partnered exclusively with Far EasTone for the Magic8 Pro pre-order program—don’t miss out on these great deals.
