You must have noticed when you use LINE to chat with friends, there is a “Query” button at the top of the chat room page. In addition to making it convenient for users to enter keywords in the current chat room to query the conversation records in this chat room, if you want to quickly check a certain date in a certain year, month and day, you can also easily do it here. Just click the “Query” button first, and then select the “Calendar” button above the keyboard:
At this time, the keyboard at the bottom of the screen will be converted to a monthly calendar display, and the conversation records with this friend (or group) in this chat room will be clearly marked according to the monthly calendar. If there is a conversation in the chat room on that day, the date will be displayed in a brighter color. On the other hand, if there is no chat on that date, the date will be displayed in gray.
If the user wants to check the conversation history of a specified date, just click on the date to quickly jump to the first post on that date, and then view the past conversation history directly from that day!
This feature has been supported by both the iOS and Android versions of the LINE App for some time. Of course, this query method can not only be used to query chat records with ordinary friends. If a couple or a couple is quarreling and wants to settle old scores, or wants to catch the other half secretly eating ambiguous conversations with others, it seems that it can also be easily done.
