Every time the computer is turned on, the Google Chrome browser is almost the first program to be launched. Currently, the browser is a platform for accessing various information and services on the Internet. It is common to have one or twenty tabs. Does so many tabs make your work more messy?Chrome launches “Pagination Groups” feature, which allows you to easily classify groups according to your needs. Unfortunately, the function is not yet complete. Since it is an experimental function, it will be continuously improved with this version. After the recent Chrome 85 update, the collapse and folding function has been added, which greatly improves the practicality of “pagination groups”.
Newly added after Chrome version 81 “Pagination group” (Tab Groups) function, a folding and folding function newly added after Chrome version 85. If there is no automatic update, you can click the menu icon in the red box on the upper right, then click the “Help” → “About Google Chrome” option to automatically update.
Then you can see the screen that Google Chrome is updating. When the update is completed, [Restart] appears and click it.
Check “About Google Chrome” again to see if the installed version is version 85.
To open “Paging Group”, you can refer to the author’s previous “Chrome adds a new pagination group function that can classify pagination mark colors and labels” article, to enable the new collapse function, enter “chrome://flags” in the address bar of the Chrome browser, open the experimental feature list, search for “Tab Groups” (or directly enter chrome://flags/#tab-groups-collapse), find the “tab-groups-collapse” option, and adjust the value to “Enabled”.
Finally, click “Relaunch” that appears on the lower right to reopen Chrome.
In order to test the folding and folding function, the following picture shows the two new groups added by the author.
Click on the group name to switch back and forth between collapsing and folding.
