As Nintendo’s flagship IP, the Super Mario Bros. franchise has long expanded beyond video games, and over the years, Nintendo has frequently released various merchandise for the series, such as collaborating with LEGO to推出專屬主題套組等. Just recently, the company has once again unveiled a new toy themed around the popular character Yoshi.

American toy manufacturer Jakks Pacific has recently unveiled its latest interactive toy product, the “Nintendo Super Mario Yum Yum Yoshi,” which is now available for pre-order on Smyths Toys and is expected to officially launch in summer 2026.

From the introduction video officially released on Twitter, fans can see that this Yoshi not only features articulated limbs that can be posed in various positions, but the biggest selling point is the recreation of his signature skill from the Super Mario Bros. series—extending his tongue to grab fruits and other food items.
According to Smyths Toys’ official description, this Yum Yum Yoshi plush stands 24 cm tall, and tilting it forward causes the tongue to automatically extend, allowing it to use a magnet to pick up the included fruit accessory.

When introducing this new toy product in its latest issue, Famitsu said the toy’s tongue design is “very realistic.” While this latest toy product was originally designed to appeal to children and collectors of Nintendo-related merchandise, this close-up shot of Yoshi’s tongue stretching across the table has also gone viral online.

This toy is currently listed on the UK Smyths Toys official store, priced at £29.99, approximately $40.
