In recent years, the iOS system can be said to be very responsive to user needs. Many functions that the editor originally thought were difficult to implement in Apple’s system design concepts in the past, such as screen recording and caller identification, are gradually being supported through native or third-party methods. It also gradually gives people fewer reasons to choose other systems such as Android. Now it is rumored that Apple may also add the call recording function to the latest iOS 14 system that Android has gradually blocked in recent years. Will this be the last straw for many people to switch to iPhone? Continue reading the text of the report that it is rumored that iOS 14 will import native phone recording. Is there any reason to abandon Android and “+1” it?

To be honest, the call recording function, which not only protects oneself but can also be used as a memo, was once one of the important reasons why it was difficult for me to abandon the Android system. However, in recent years due to policy reasons (I don’t know if it’s because Google prepares to do it itself), in fact, even in the Android system, which is known to be relatively free, it is not easy to find a normally usable call recording function – the easy-to-use ones are often blocked later… which makes people extremely worried. However, it has just been reported that the Android system may resurrect call recordings through content transcription. Now it seems that Apple may also plan to Take advantage of the situation Provide users with such convenient functions.

It is rumored that iOS 14 (pictured above), which has a multi-tasking interface like iPadOS, is likely to be introduced. Recently, screenshots of Apple’s mobile system settings for WWDC 2020, which will be held on the 22nd, leaked out, showing that the iOS system will likely introduce native voice recording functions for phone calls and FaceTime calls. In fact, this function is just a simple on and off, but from the disclaimer of “You must expressly inform…”, you can see that this function will be able to record the voice content of incoming and outgoing calls.

So if this system screenshot is indeed the setting function of iOS 14 (what is more suspicious is that the T for FaceTime in the screenshot is not capitalized), it seems that iPhone users will have one less reason to use other systems in the future? On the contrary, I don’t know if Android will really relax again this time or even directly provide call recording by default, but for some people who are waiting and watching, they want to jump to iOS and give it a try (especially now that there are ultra-high CP values) iPhone SE 2 Ah…), it seems that the wait and see point of switching to the system may be eliminated – all of this should soon be revealed at WWDC at the end of the month. At that time, our Computer King Ada team will also closely focus on reporting, so stay tuned.

renew:according to 9to5Mac’s follow-up verification, this function is probably only used for internal testing – but now that the function has been completed, maybe we can still have some expectations?
