Google Clock app adds bedtime and sleep analysis, and revamps the interface accordingly
For those of you who are using Android smart watches, is the “Handwashing Countdown” function of wearable devices that Google brought to the clock app update a while ago, can it accompany you through every crazy hand-washing time to prevent the epidemic? Although the release of the latest version of Android has been somewhat delayed, Google has not stopped updating its own applications. In the past two days, it is said that the latest version v6.3 of the Clock app has started to be pushed. The most obvious change is that the control buttons originally placed at the top have been moved to the bottom.

In addition, this time the Google Clock application also introduces the previously onlyRely on third-party applicationsThe sleep analysis and bedtime functions that can only be achieved – the former is based on the description of estimating the length of your sleep through digital health data and sensing room light; the latter is after you set the bedtime/wakeup time, it will be paired with reminders and sleep-aid music to help you get up and fall asleep more easily.

Interestingly, this function that is supposed to appear in v6.3, after the editor updated it, I did not see the last item “Bedtime” at the bottom appearing. It seems that there are still other startup conditions. This feature is actually a bit like the sleep version of the Google Now card (?), because in addition to the necessary setting cards for functions such as bedtime, there is also a preview card for “upcoming trips” that will ask for calendar permissions. Overall, this feature really shows the thoughtfulness of Google. I don’t know when I will be able to play it.
