Google Duo may relax the use of email instead of phone number to bind accounts

The main benefit here is that in the past, if you wanted to contact each other through the Google Duo service, you would have to disclose your mobile phone number. On the other hand, foreign media also speculated that this change may also have the opportunity to make email a means of registration. Although it is good to adapt to provide more freedom, in a way, it will also make Duo not much different from other services?
