Nowadays, many people should be like me and subscribe to many online services, such as iCloud cloud backup space, Spotify (or Apple Music, Google Music), Amazon Prime, and NETFLIX. Although it is impossible to forget which services you have subscribed to, how much does each cost? When will the payment be deducted? And how much does it cost in total? It’s a bit difficult to remember, and Bobby is a very convenient free App that allows us to easily manage all online subscription services to avoid overspending, or forgetting to cancel the subscription before the payment date, etc. It is currently only available in iOS version.
Introduction to Bobby’s free tool for managing online subscription services
Bobby’s set does not currently support the Chinese interface, but it is very simple to use, and the following will quickly tell you how to operate it. There will be a simple introduction when you open the App for the first time, and you can use it without registering an account:
Using the interface, the free version can create up to 5 subscription services, which should be enough for ordinary people. If you exceed it, you need to upgrade to the paid version, which is not expensive. Press the + in the upper right to add a new subscription service:
Common online subscription services have been preset. Basically, most of them can be found. Unless they are unique to Taiwan (such as iQiyi), they may not be available. If you cannot find them, you can click Create custom subscription below:
Fill in the subscription amount (the default currency is New Taiwan Dollar), description, and the time of your first subscription:
Click More Options below for more filling options, such as: how often to pay (Cycle, default is monthly), subscription time (Duration, default is permanent), whether to have reminders (Remind me), currency unit (Currency):
Like this, after adding all the services you subscribe to one by one, it will be arranged according to the deduction time. The higher the number, the closer the deduction time is. For example, my Amazon Prime will be deducted tomorrow, and WSJ has 3 days left. The lower right corner will calculate my total monthly expenses for all subscription services:
iCloud Sync backup and security lock are also supported, but this is only available in the paid version and not available in the free version:
The paid version is a one-time fee and is not expensive. Even if it is fully unlocked, it only costs NT$70. It is worth considering for those who like it:
