Android original calling app teardown reveals possible call recording function

Under the strategy of many brands focusing on applications that are as close to the native system as possible, the lack of call recording in the phone functions of the new generation Android system originally seemed to have no solution other than root. However, after XDA Developers recently dismantled the latest update pushed by Google for Pixel phones, this situation seems to be changing. Android original calling app teardown reveals possible call recording function

To a certain extent, the ability to record calls is really one of the important reasons why I chose an Android phone before. Basically, I paid for a useful app without any suspense (stable recording is very important). But as the new generation of systems gradually eliminates the possibility of such use, there is one less incentive for people to choose the Android system – although it can still be used “if you study hard”, it is still quite troublesome. Now it seems that Google is considering releasing this feature, which has been officially blocked since Android 9 Pie, or even building it directly into it.

XDA Developers disassembled the latest Google Phone app original call application pushed on the Pixel 4 mobile phone, and suddenly found that it has added new component icons and other resources related to call recording, and even keywords including incall and record are already included in the program code. Before this, although Google had opened relevant APIs (but it was a long time ago, and this function was not built into the original application), but now it seems that the official may have begun to consider responding to this demand after all.

Unfortunately, even if there is such a strong hint hidden in the application, it is still unknown whether the Google Phone app will actually enable similar functions in the future (at best, it can only be said that it is under testing). But the editor sincerely hopes that such a function can be built into the system. This is really a very convenient function for users.
