OpenClaw arguably the most popular recently AI Agenta tool, but many people only focus on what it can do, ignoring the underlying security issues. For example, an unencrypted database vulnerability was recently discovered, which could allow anyone to impersonate users on the platform AI Proxies, this is quite serious, and because of this many companies prohibit the use of, like Meta banned employees from using it on work devices, China has also restricted banks and government agencies from adopting it, among other measures. And at the earlier GTC 2026 conference,NVIDIA Introducing their own version called NemoClaw, which addresses this pain point and allows enterprises to confidently step into this globally popular AI agent.

NVIDIA NemoClaw Debuts! Enabling Enterprises to Use OpenClaw with Confidence

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang officially unveiled “NemoClaw” during the keynote at the GTC conference earlier. It’s an AI agent deployment solution built on OpenClaw, featuring additional protection mechanisms that enterprises need, allowing businesses to deploy AI agents with confidence without worrying about security risks. NVIDIA stated they assembled “the world’s top security researchers” to redesign OpenClaw.

For this, OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger also said:

OpenClaw 讓人們更接近 AI,並創造一個每個人都能擁有自己 AI 代理的世界。在 NVIDIA 與整個生態系的合作下,我們正在打造「爪子與護欄」,讓任何人都能建立強大且安全的 AI 助手。

Therefore, it’s clear that NemoClaw is not meant to replace OpenClaw, but rather adds an enterprise-level security layer on top of the existing foundation, specifically designed for enterprises.

NemoClaw’s core architecture consists of three main components:

  1. NVIDIA OpenShell: This is an open-source secure execution environment. You can think of it as an “isolated sandbox,” where each AI agent operates in an independent process without interfering with one another. OpenShell provides least-privilege access control, policy enforcement via command-line interface (CLI), and a “privacy router” to decide whether AI inference runs locally or is offloaded to the cloud.
  2. NVIDIA Nemotron Model Series: This is NVIDIA’s own open-source AI model that can run on users’ local hardware. Nemotron 3 Super has 120 billion parameters and can handle long-context workloads; Nemotron 3 Omni features audio, visual, and language understanding capabilities, enabling AI agents to extract information from multiple forms of input.
  3. NVIDIA Agent Toolkit: A toolkit for optimizing OpenClaw deployment, integrating multiple NVIDIA open-source resources including cuDF, cuOPT, and Nemotron Dynamo, enabling developers to build and manage AI agents more efficiently.

Jensen Huang also claimed at the event that Nemotron 3 Super is one of the best models for deployment with OpenClaw, an open-source large language model designed for AI agents:

NemoClaw is also incredibly easy to install—just one command to deploy it on your existing OpenClaw platform, which will automatically install the Nemotron model and OpenShell execution environment.

You can enter in the terminal:

$ curl -fsSL https://nvidia.com/nemoclaw.sh | bash
$ nemoclaw onboard

You can also just ask OpenClaw to install it for you: “Help me install nvidia.com/nemoclaw”

Regarding supported devices, there shouldn’t be any issues in general. However, if your device is equipped with NVIDIA hardware, you’ll get optimized performance, including: GeForce RTX series PCs/laptops, RTX PRO series workstations, DGX Station, DGX Spark, and more.

However, it’s worth noting that NVIDIA currently positions NemoClaw as an early Alpha release, and the company has openly acknowledged that users can expect some rough edges—so enterprise users looking for more stability may want to wait before giving it a try.
