Intel This was already shared during the CES 2026 press conference Panther Lake The New Arc B390 Integrated Graphics: Powerful Performance, not only is it far ahead of its competitors AMD…and its performance is on par with NVIDIA The GeForce RTX 4050 generated a lot of excitement right from the start. To prove that this integrated graphics solution truly lives up to the hype, NVIDIA gave the media a chance to test it out early at CES 2026—and it turned out to be true! It can deliver an average of 80 FPS even when playing AAA titles like *Cyberpunk 2077*.

Intel’s new Panther Lake integrated graphics are incredibly powerful, delivering an average of over 80 FPS in *Cyberpunk 2077*
Earlier, the foreign media outlet Tom’s Hardware shared hands-on testing results from CES 2026, featuring Lenovo’s IdeaPad Pro 5 laptop, which is powered by the top-of-the-line 16-core Panther Lake Core Ultra X9 388 processor and features 32GB of RAM and 12 Xe3 cores (iGPU—Arc B390).
To improve heat dissipation, they raised the laptop off the surface, and for gaming, they connected an external PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD via USB-C. The laptop’s native screen resolution is 2880 × 1800. During testing, game graphics settings were set to 1920 × 1080 or 1920 × 1200, using XeSS technology.

Tom’s Hardware reports that at 1080p resolution with XeSS enabled, Panther Lake can approach or even reach 60 FPS in recent games. Here are the test results:
| Game Title | Average Frame Rate | 1% Minimum Frame Rate | Test Settings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Baldur’s Gate 3 | 68.4 fps | 39.7 fps | 1200p, High Definition, XeSS Quality Mode |
| Cyberpunk 2077 (Built-in Test) | 81.4 fps | 59.1 fps | 1080p, High Definition, XeSS Balanced Mode |
| Doom: The Dark Ages | 51.1 fps | 38.1 fps | 1080p, High Definition, XeSS Balanced Mode |
| F1 2025 (Built-in Test, Australian Circuit, Sunny) | 109.5 fps | 81.8 fps | 1080p, High Definition, XeSS Balanced Mode |
| Monster Hunter: Wilds | 35.5 fps | 28.1 fps | 1200p, Medium Quality, XeSS Balanced Mode |
| Spider-Man 2 | 57.4 fps | 30 fps | 1080p, High Definition, XeSS Quality Mode |
As you can see, with the help of XeSS technology, even a performance-intensive game like *Baldur’s Gate 3* can achieve 60 FPS, However, *Spider-Man 2* and *Doom: Dark Ages* fell slightly short of this mark, though the gameplay remained quite smooth.
Tom’s Hardware also noted that Panther Lake is one of the best in terms of thermal performance for gaming on laptops; even after an hour and a half of high-load benchmarking, it generated almost no heat.
Of course, it’s not without its drawbacks: Although XeSS currently supports a wide range of games, there are still some variations in quality. For example, in *F1 2025*, it rivals FSR 2/3, but in *Cyberpunk 2077*, the visuals still show some imperfections.
These tests confirm that even with just its integrated graphics, Panther Lake can deliver a very solid gaming experience—which is undoubtedly great news for gamers. However, it’s important to note that not every Panther Lake model features an iGPU with 12 Xe3 cores—only the Core Ultra X9 388H, Core Ultra X7 368H, and Core Ultra X7 358H do.
