Open Beta Card Pool Information

Since the first part of the Forward Live stream mainly covered the world-building and some settings of *Land of the End*—such as the journey from Valley No. 4 to Hongshan, as well as gameplay mechanics related to the Integrated Industrial System— and since Lolo has already covered these topics in her earlier gameplay videos, let’s cut to the chase and dive right into the details of the 1.0 gacha pool for the open beta! The first wave of Operators to appear in the open beta is the same as in the third closed beta, namelyLewandowski, GerpettaandYvonne, The only slight difference is that the order of appearance has been adjusted slightly; the first 6-star Operator is still Levantine, and the gacha period runs from1/22~2/7, The second 6-star Operator to be introduced is Jie Ge, and the gacha event will run from2/7~2/24…and the third one is Yvonne, starting from2/24From now until the next version update and maintenance.

Levantine
FirstLevantine—also known as “Sister 42,” a name familiar to veteran Ark players—is a character whose core playstyle revolves around area-of-effect damage,6 starsFire AttributeAssault Operator…He was also a powerful Fire C during the closed beta, and the developers made optimizations and adjustments to his class and damage rotation. This time, he joins the Endland Industry with his memories still incomplete.Lewantin’s team composition strategy primarily revolves around Fire-elemental status effects—specifically Scorch and Burn—and stacking “Molten Fire” layers on himself. Once he reaches the 4-layer cap, his Battle Skill triggers an additional wide-area slash, which is then combined with the burst damage from his Ultimate to deliver massive damage.

Jelpetta
Second placeJelperta, for6 starsNatural AttributesSupport Officer…and is also a familiar face to Ark players. Her role is primarily that of a control-oriented support who inflicts spell-based status effects on enemies. Jie’s unique ability allows her to pull enemies toward the center, making it easier for the team to focus fire. Her ultimate ability knocks small enemies into the air, where they remain suspended for a short time, while also significantly reducing their movement speed and increasing the magical damage they take. As a result, she pairs exceptionally well with any team composition that relies on spell-based status effects.

Yvonne
Third placeYvonne, whereas6 starsCold AttributeAssault Operator…Just seeing “Assault” tells you that his role is the main DPS. The “Freeze” abnormality allows her to freeze enemies, and when combined with the combo skills of multiple operatives, she can unleash explosive damage. After activating her finisher, Yvonne also enters a frenzied “Biu Biu Biu” rapid-fire mode, making her a core powerhouse within the Cold-based build.

Open Beta Updates

Game Tools
The team system in *Land of the End* can primarily be viewed asPhysicsandSpell AnomaliesThere are two types. Each system’s team-building approach has operators that are well-suited to it and synergy skills that require specific combinations, but it’s okay if you don’t understand them at first. since the “Game Tools” feature—which was already implemented during the third beta test—will be available right from the start of the open beta. You can find it directly in the watch menu, where you’ll be able to view squad compositions and battle strategies shared by other Administrators. Lolo will also be compiling a video summarizing recommended team compositions for each element.

Optimizing Performance Effects
In addition, the open beta has included further optimizations to the storytelling and camera work during exploration, including some aspects that may not be immediately obvious but can affect immersion.

Optimize Visual Effects
In terms of visual optimization, elements such as the snow-crunching effect when the administrator walks through the snow, the realistic depiction of wet surfaces in standing water and flowing streams within the scene, and even the clearer sense of depth when looking out at the clouds surrounding the planet from aboard the Di Jiang will all be more pronounced.

Optimize Audio Quality
In terms of audio, the detail is so precise that you’ll be able to identify which operator is behind you just by listening to their footsteps.

Adjust the camera angle
The camera lens has also been optimized. In certain scenarios, objects that would previously obstruct the lens will now appear semi-transparent, so the camera won’t keep zooming in and out on them while you’re moving.

Improvements to the Combat Experience
Following the open beta, neither Battle Skills nor Co-op Skills will interrupt the main operator’s normal attack combos during combat. Additionally, when the main operator is in combat and a prompt indicating an incoming enemy attack appears, the on-screen visual feedback will be more prominent.

Lowering Main Quest Permissions
The developers have also lowered the permission level requirements for some main quests, allowing players to experience certain early-game content in Valley 4 more quickly. They’ve also enhanced the guidance for certain exploration interactions—for example, the mechanics related to storage chests will be more clearly explained, and the bunnies that guide players to the chests will have more distinctive visual effects to set them apart.

New Ways to Obtain Armory Quotas
Originally, during the third beta test, there weren’t many ways to obtain “Armory Quotas” for the weapon gacha; the main source was through character gacha pulls. After the open beta, a new way was added by completingDaily TasksAfter that, you can claim the “Arsenal Quota” for free, and the rewards will also include some Exploration Currency.Inlaid JadeandTraining Materials。

The difficulty of raising them has dropped significantly
Several optimizations have also been made to character development. The difficulty of material dungeons has been reduced, allowing players to defeat enemies more quickly, and the amount of development materials available in the early game has been increased. The maximum number of collectibles that can spawn on the map will also be increased, along with the range of items that can be purchased with Dispatch Vouchers. Additionally, the rewards for development materials obtainable through the Adventure Manual and Map Development levels have been expanded, which helps reduce the grind required during the early exploration phase. The level cap for agents has also been lowered, from the previous cap of Level 99 toLevel 90I have to say, during the third beta test, the resource costs for characters above level 80 were really daunting. Now that the resource costs for upgrading Operatives and weapons have been optimized, the progression speed has also increased.Enemy levels in Energy Congestion Points on Difficulty 7 will also decrease, and the Trial difficulty will adjust downward in real time to match the drop in enemy levels. As a result, enemies—whether on the world map or in material dungeons—will become easier to defeat.

Equipment Refinement Adjustments
The following has been added to the “Refined Forging” section of equipment:Minimum Guarantee Mechanism, you can see at a glance how much progress remains toward the minimum target.

Add Crystal Jade Rewards to the Storage Chest
All treasure chests that can be opened on the map will increase the amount of Crystal Jade you can obtain, and the developers have also added a brand-new “Surprise Storage Box“, and once you open it, you’ll get it right away150 Crystal-Inlaid Jade。

Hardware Optimization and Unlocking
The PC version will also be available120 framesgameplay options, and supportsNVIDIA DLSSandFrame GenerationWith this technology, you can even experience ray tracing in certain scenes on some iOS devices. Just look at that water surface—can you believe this is a smartphone display?

Mobile Device Controller Operation
In addition, a new mobile controller mode has been added, providing administrators who value control and immersion with another option, and numerous optimizations have been made to the controller experience across all platforms.

Protocol Pass Optimization
As for the Agreement Pass, we’ve also enhanced the rewards for different tiers to allow players to obtain more materials through daily progression.Lolo also has the contents of the Agreement PassPrevious VideoAs explained earlier, you can always go back and refer to it if needed.

Map, Play, Explore
The map design also incorporates a wealth of interactive details, such as mysterious walls—if you have keen eyesight enough to spot and break them, you’ll discover treasure chests hidden behind them—as well as combat support equipment that can be used to clear certain bottlenecks on the map, thereby advancing your exploration progress.

Blueprint Features
For many players accustomed to fast-paced combat or tap-to-play idle games, the complexity of the industrial simulation mechanics might seem off-putting at first glance, but in fact, the “Blueprint” feature that players have been eagerly awaiting was already added during the third beta test. Furthermore, each piece of equipment comes with comprehensive tutorials, and completing them rewards you with Crystal Gems. The game includes some official, built-in basic blueprints that let you quickly construct the facilities needed to tackle early-game missions. Later on, you can also enter blueprint codes created by other administrators to build a large number of structures with a single click—it’s incredibly convenient.

Staff Storytelling Event
It will also be available on the day the open beta begins.Levantinethe brand-new narrative event “Ashes of Burning Memories,” as well asWolf GuardThe narrative activities—that is, the agent’s exclusive storyline—in Levantine’s storyline begin with your first encounter with her. You’ll open the Ice Abyss Stone Gate and follow the trail, step by step, deeper into the recesses of your memories.More will be made available in the coming days.Jie GeandYvonnenarrative activities.

Adjustments and Optimizations to the Search Mechanism
Next up are some optimizations related to the gacha system. Most of the content here is largely the same as in the third beta test. Explaining it in detail would take quite a while, so if you haven’t read Lolo’s previous third beta playthrough impressions, aren’t familiar with the gacha mechanics, or are curious about how many pulls it generally takes to get a fully-unlocked 6-star character, you might want to check those out. This section primarily covers the new gacha pool mechanism introduced in the open beta. In the limited pool for 6-star Operators—known as “Special Recruitment”—a new “Expedited Recruitment Mechanism“, as long as you accumulate 30 pulls in the limited gacha pool, you’ll receive one pull from the current limited gacha pool10 Free Draws…which is equivalent to a “spend 30, get 10 free” offer. However, it’s important to note that these 10 free pulls do not count toward your current guaranteed drop count. On the other hand, if you actually obtain an Operator through these 10 free pulls, that Operator is essentially a bonus and will not affect your current cumulative count.

As for the rotation order of the gacha pools after the open beta—as Lolo mentioned earlier—it will beLewandowski → Gelperta → YvonneIn the first gacha pool, the main featured operator is Levantine, but there’s also a chance to draw Jie and Yvonne—who will be featured in the next and the one after that—and there will still be opportunities to draw Levantine in the next and the one after that pools as well. After two gacha pools have passed, Levantine will officially be removed from the gacha pool.

Key Points to Know About Card Draws
Lolo would also like to briefly remind everyone of the key points to keep in mind before pulling cards. Since every gacha pool features a guaranteed 6-star drop after 120 pulls, but under normal circumstances, the drop rate increases by 5% with each pull starting from the 65th pull, and a 6-star Operator is guaranteed by the 80th pull at the latest. So, on average, you’ll get a 6-star Operator in just over 70 pulls. Plus, you receive a free 10-pull bundle every 30 pulls, meaning you’ll have an extra 20 pulls as a bonus during the Open Beta Celebration. Now, if you don’t hit the 6-star guarantee at the 80th pull, the maximum120 pullsYou are guaranteed to get the current featured character, and once that character is drawn, this guaranteed first-draw opportunity is used up. Therefore, the key strategy for pulling cards is this: if you’re certain you want Lewandowski, then pull during the gacha pool where he is the main featured character—preferablyDon’t discard cards as soon as you draw them, or even randomly add cards to the deck.If you haven’t triggered this “guaranteed reward after 120 pulls” mechanic before the gacha pool ends, it will be gone once the pool rotates, and it won’t be so easy to pull the featured 6-star character next time.

Card Pool Draw Directions
Some new players might ask, “Are there any T0 characters I absolutely have to pull?” Actually, every Operator has their own strengths and unique traits, so you can just pick the one you like best. That said, Levantine is truly both popular and powerful, so as the very first Operator to be introduced, she’s definitely highly recommended to pull for. Plus, since the third closed beta didn’t offer the same bonuses as the open beta, spending just a little time each day to complete the main story up to Hongshan should be enough to get you 1–2 6-star permanent Operators—and you’ll also have a chance to pull 6-star Operators from the limited pools.Lolo personally would recommend that operators specializing in damage output start withLevantineandYvonnePick one first,Jie GeThis is a must-have, because no other character can currently replace its crowd control and support abilities, especially when paired with the healer you get just for logging in.AlderaIn other words, all you need to do is fill the remaining two slots with a main DPS and a sub-DPS that work well together. Both the Fire and Ice teams have their own strengths. If you pair them with the 6-star operatives obtained from the permanent gacha pool, you might have 2–3 teams worth developing. However, in the early game, it’s best to focus your resources primarily on one team; even allocating resources to a second team might be a bit of a stretch. Although dungeon difficulties have been lowered, it’s still uncertain how well they’ll perform in combat. so Lolo still recommends avoiding spreading your resources too thin by developing too many teams in the early game.

For the permanent roster, we also recommend damage-dealing Operators, such asJunwei, BieliandLi Feng,Lolo herself thinks the grand prize should go toJunwei…The Physics Team is arguably the best team for new players to build—it’s incredibly easy to use and packs a serious punch, plus the operatives are very easy to collect, such asChen Qianyu, AdministratorYou can build a physical damage team right away. Li Feng can serve as the physical damage carry in the early game, and once you acquire Jun Wei later on, you can upgrade to an even more powerful physical damage team. As for Bie Li, she requires some skill and coordination with other operatives, but she’s also an ice damage carry with excellent damage output. The learning curve may vary from person to person,Embers is a fairly versatile survival character. Although she’s a Fire-type, she isn’t particularly well-suited for the Levantine team because she lacks the means to inflict Fire status effects on her own. As such, she primarily serves to improve stability in early-game exploration battles and can be included in any team in need of a survival character. As for the last lamb, since you get it just for logging in regularly, it’s best to expand your character pool as much as possible early on. Drawing duplicate characters might be a slight loss, but the Little Lamb’s Potential 1 effect is actually pretty good, so if you can accept that, you don’t necessarily need to restart. You can head straight for Sister 42 to see if you can assemble a full Fire team—that can also make for a very comfortable playthrough, especially since you might not have the resources to level up that many characters anyway.

Open Beta Celebration Rewards
Next up is a summary of the perks and gacha statistics during the open beta. Currently, *The End* has reached the milestone of 35 million global pre-registrations, which has unlocked the 5-star Agent.Snow in the Daytime、20 Permanent Draws, as well as the 5-star weapon “The Voice of the Finish Line“Milestone Rewards.” You can log in to the game after the open beta and claim them directly from your in-game mail.

If you play for about 2 to 3 hours early on to complete the main story, you should be able to get most of them.4 “10-Visit Exploration Passes”…you can perform up to 40 pulls in the beginner gacha “Set Out on a Quest,” where you’re guaranteed to recruit at least one 6-star Operator. Lolo was lucky during the third beta test and pulled two 6-star Operators within those 40 pulls, so you should definitely use up all 40 pulls. In addition, you can also obtain “Weapons Supply for Departure“You can choose one 6-star weapon from a specific selection. Here, you can first check which permanent Operator was drawn from your Starter Pool, then redeem that Operator’s exclusive weapon. In the New Player Check-in Event, you can earn a total of12 “Authorized Visit Certificates”, and you can also receive a 6-star operator during that timeAlderaand hers6-Star Exclusive Weapon “Cangming Star Dream”. As your permission level increases, you can also earn additional40 “Basic Exploration Vouchers”and4,000 Crystal-Inlaid Jade, as well as “Premium Weapon Supply“, and you can also choose one 6-star weapon from a specific selection. Official Manga
The official team will also be releasing a comic series titled *The Promise*, starring Pelika, which recounts the daily life of young Pelika as she followed the Administrator to the Endlands ten years ago to learn and live there. Additionally, the four-panel comic *123 Rhodes Island!?* and the special short comic *456 Endland!?* are also set to go live soon. There are also plenty of chibi-style comics in the *Go for It! Open Beta Redemption Codes
Open Beta Redemption Code “ALLFIELD」, and the redemption period is1/22~1/29Before then, remember to redeem your rewards before the deadline. To reward us, the developers even set up a spin-the-wheel event, and in the end, they distributed all the rewards. Aside from Crystal Jade and some materials, the one thing worth paying special attention to is “Traces of Continuity“This is a valuable material that agents will need later on when specializing in skills. There aren’t many ways to obtain it, so use it wisely.”

That wraps up Lolo’s quick guide to the open beta preview for *Arknights: The End of the World*!
