Taiwan’s three major mobile carriers simultaneously launched pre-order campaigns on their official websites and announced various purchase plans and promotional offers.
What are the pre-order promotions and carrier plan discounts for the Apple iPhone 17e offered by the three major carriers? Here’s a summary:

 

Apple has unveiled the iPhone 17e, a new entry-level model, with a suggested retail price starting at $21,900. The new model features the latest A19 processor and C1X modem system; it also supports more efficient 15W MagSafe wireless charging; memory upgrades are included at no extra cost; it incorporates an upgraded “Ultra Ceramic Shield 2” protective panel; and introduces a new soft pink color option—among five key features (see [This article】)。

 

Below are the pre-order promotions and mobile plan discounts offered by the “Big Three” telecom carriers for the Apple 17e:

1. Chunghwa Telecom:

A. Pre-orders opened on the afternoon of March 3 (now full), with sales officially beginning on March 11:
At 3:00 p.m. on March 3, Chunghwa Telecom opened pre-orders for the iPhone 17e on its online store, and all slots were filled within one hour. Sales officially began at 8:00 a.m. on March 11 through Chunghwa Telecom’s online store and nearly 500 designated service locations across Taiwan.

B. Starting at $0 with a specified plan:
Sign up for the “Exciting 5G” plan at NT$1,399 per month (48-month contract term), and take home an iPhone 17e 256GB for NT$0; 1,399 yuan (30-month contract term); the iPhone 17e 256GB is priced at 6,300 yuan as part of this promotion, plus an additional 2,000 yuan discount when trading in an old device for a new one; VIP members can receive a discount of up to 5,000 yuan, allowing you to take home the iPhone 17e 256GB for 0 yuan (30-month contract); select iPhone models paired with the “Exciting 5G” plan at a monthly payment of 599 yuan or more qualify for a 3,500-yuan discount, meeting the diverse needs of Apple fans.

 

C. No monthly fee for multiple value-added services:
To allow customers to fully enjoy a diverse range of 5G applications, when you sign up for the “Exciting 5G” monthly plan with a monthly payment of 999 or more and purchase a device, you’ll automatically receive several value-added services at no additional monthly charge, including a 4-month subscription to YouTube Premium (Individual Plan), KKBOX, the mobile version of Anti-Hack Gatekeeper, and 3 months of Children’s Book Dream Factory—all designed to meet your entertainment and digital lifestyle needs.

 

2. Taiwan Mobile:

A. Pre-orders open at 11:00 a.m. on March 4, with a variety of pre-order discounts available:
Taiwan Mobile announced that pre-orders will open at 11:00 a.m. on March 4 at myfone retail stores and the myfone online store, with sales officially beginning at 8:00 a.m. on March 11. The myfone online store will open pre-orders for the iPhone 17e (unlocked) at 10:15 p.m. on March 4.
Pre-order a designated mobile plan or a standalone device through the myfone online store, and you’ll be automatically entered into a drawing for a 1,000-yuan myfone online e-gift card—no registration required.
