In recent years, AI has long become a widely recognized field, and the rise of OpenClaw has sparked an enormous wave, drawing many to join the “Openclaw farming” trend. This year’s COMPUTEX saw AI agents emerge as a particularly key focus for major brands and manufacturers. Taiwanese brands MSI and ASUS showcased their personalized AI agent platforms at the expo, vying for a spot at the forefront of this trend.

Openclaw Sets the Trend as MSI and ASUS Roll Out Their Own AI Agent Platforms

MSI and ASUS, two hardware manufacturers, have unveiled their latest technologies in response to OpenClaw, which went viral earlier this year. Netizens have affectionately nicknamed it “raising Openclaw” due to its red Openclaw icon. Unlike previous ChatGPT, which could only passively “answer text,” this type of agentic AI can autonomously connect to browsers, apps, or system permissions to help you automatically download data, send emails, and organize reports across software. Major hardware manufacturers are working to “productize” this technology, allowing users to easily enjoy AI assistants in a secure sandbox environment.

ASUS Zenni Claw

ASUS Zenni Claw features ease of use, flexibility, and built-in security mechanisms as its main highlights. Through a one-click three-step setup process and an intuitive desktop experience, users can get started immediately. Its pre-configured ASUS Skills provide immediate application value through practical and intuitive workflows, and the system can dynamically distribute tasks between local and cloud environments based on optimization requirements for performance, functionality, and cost. At the same time, the controlled architecture with built-in security mechanisms helps ensure data protection, environment isolation, and stable system operation, creating a smooth and trustworthy AI experience that can adapt to user needs.

ASUS mascot “Zenni” transforms into a desktop AI companion, offering friendly and intuitive human-computer interaction. It adopts a flexible “on-premises-cloud hybrid routing” system that automatically selects the most suitable processor (such as NPU or cloud) based on task requirements, balancing computational efficiency and data privacy.

MSI LuckyClaw

As a dedicated proxy-style AI assistant for users, LuckyClaw adopts a flexible cloud and local hybrid architecture, enabling seamless switching between leading foundation models. Built on the OpenClaw and Nvidia NemoClaw architectures, it features one-click installation and high security, with customized AI Agents capable of web search, document summarization, and more. It can directly integrate with messaging platforms like Discord, Slack, Telegram, and WhatsApp, while ensuring operational safety through built-in dual security mechanisms.

Users can independently execute a single agent, or even have multiple LuckyClaw work together to form a powerful “Claw Army” to handle complex multi-tasking operations.

On MSI’s new desktop computers, such as the MEG Vision X2 AI+, Lucky Dragon transforms into a 3D holographic image and interacts with users face-to-face through voice AI via the built-in microphone.

AI agents don’t just provide a set of AI tools—they build an AI agent ecosystem that grows with user needs, offering flexibility and security. It takes AI from being “usable” to truly “useful,” evolving from an auxiliary tool into a genuine intelligent partner that brings greater efficiency and more natural interactions to individuals and their workflows.
