Judging from the latest leaked official renderings, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be available in a variety of color options, with “Cobalt Violet” being the most eye-catching. This unique purple tone presents a rich layer of luster under different light angles. Combined with the smooth texture of the glass back, it demonstrates Samsung’s delicate craftsmanship in color aesthetics.

In addition to cobalt purple, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will also be available in black, silver shadow, sky blue and pink gold. It is worth noting that these color names have interesting echoes with the rumored color matching of Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro series. The two brands seem to have launched a new round of competition over the color strategies of flagship phones. Judging from the body size, the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a three-dimensional dimension of 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm and a weight of about 214 grams. Compared with the previous generation S25 Ultra (162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm, 218 grams), the body is slightly longer but thinner, and the overall grip is expected to be more comfortable.

In terms of core specifications, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and support the S Pen stylus function. The screen uses a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display panel with a resolution of QHD+ and is equipped with 1-120Hz automatic refresh rate technology, which can dynamically adjust the screen refresh rate according to the displayed content.

This new flagship also introduces Samsung’s latest “Privacy Display” technology, which can limit the visible range of the screen when viewed from the side, effectively preventing the risk of privacy leaks caused by “shoulder peeping”. In addition, the screen glass is upgraded to Corning Gorilla Armor 2, which provides greater resistance to scratches and drops. The camera system is one of the highlights of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The main lens uses a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 sensor and is rumored to be equipped with an f/1.4 large aperture design, which can capture more light in low-light environments. Other lenses include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module (Samsung JN3), a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens (IMX854), and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, forming a complete shooting system.

The battery capacity remains at 5,000mAh, but it is expected to have a major breakthrough in charging speed. According to China’s 3C certification data, the S26 Ultra may support 60W wired fast charging, which is a significant improvement compared to the S25 Ultra’s 45W. In terms of storage space, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will start from 256GB, with options up to 1TB, and the memory is expected to be equipped with 16GB.

Price adjustment draws market attention

Although the Galaxy S26 Ultra has many highlights in terms of specifications and design, the news of price increase may deter consumers. It is understood that due to the rising prices of DRAM, NAND Flash and other components, as well as the increased costs of AI computing cores and new camera modules, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may be priced higher than the previous generation in some markets.Increased by approximately 6%. Facing the pressure of price increases, Samsung seems to have chosen to persuade consumers to pay for it through SoC upgrades, camera innovations and new display technologies. Whether the market can accept this wave of price adjustments remains to be verified by sales data after the new machine is officially released.
