Are there any new models in the RTX 50 series? NVIDIA is rumored to be preparing to launch a stronger version than the RTX 5090 in the second half of the year

According to a report by foreign media VideoCardz, this news comes from Overclocking.com. They claim to have received confirmation from many sources that NVIDIA is planning to launch a new graphics card with stronger specifications than the RTX 5090. The details are not yet clear, but it is speculated that it may use the name RTX 5090 Ti or RTX Titan, so it does not belong to the SUPER series. However, the Titan series is probably just a one-off product, so the possibility of its appearance is low.

The report also mentioned that they had discussions with a number of industry professionals and that the project has surpassed the early planning stage and work related to board design has already begun. The current launch is in the third quarter of 2026. If we look at NVIDIA’s past product releases, this new graphics card model may be unveiled around Computex.

It should be noted, however, that while Overclocking.com expressed considerable confidence in the source, it did not provide documents, screenshots, photos, or other substantial evidence, so its authenticity has yet to be confirmed. VideoCardz also stated that they have contacted their own sources and have not yet received confirmation.

The specifications are still unclear, but since it is stronger than the RTX 5090, it can be speculated that the VRAM memory will most likely become larger. In this era of huge memory price increases, it seems reasonable for NVIDIA to postpone the lower-profit RTX 50 SUPER series and launch the highest-end model with better profits.

In addition, it is also obvious that this graphics card does not have much practical significance for most players. After all, the RTX 5090 can already meet all current games, and the higher-end prices will definitely become more expensive and the supply quantity is limited, so it is likely to still be used in AI workstations.

The RTX 50 SUPER originally scheduled to be launched this year has been postponed, and the RTX 60 series will have to wait longer.

As the AI boom drives up demand for high-bandwidth memory, global memory supply continues to be tight, forcing NVIDIA to adjust its consumer graphics card schedule.

Previous reports from The Information and Wccftech mentioned that the RTX 50 SUPER, originally expected to be unveiled in 2026, has been delayed again due to supply issues, and may even be canceled; and the next-generation RTX 60 series may also be postponed from the original end of 2027 to 2028. NVIDIA will also simultaneously reduce the production of current game GPUs, making it more difficult for players to change cards in the next few seasons.
