LINE’s official help center announced earlier that “Support for the new video function in Notepad has ended.” The content states that in order to ensure service stability and provide a better user experience, starting from April 27, 2026, Taiwanese users will not be able to upload new videos in Notepad in general chat rooms (one-to-one or group), nor will they be able to edit uploaded videos.
This means that videos uploaded before April 27, 2026 will continue to be placed in Notepad, but new ones cannot be uploaded, so users do not have to worry about whether previously backed up videos will disappear.
