Now, creating marketing assets or editing PDF files in Slack is as simple as sending a message. Adobe has officially launched Adobe for Slack, allowing users to turn everyday conversations, shared files, and project presentations into professional images, videos, and document content directly without leaving their Slack workspace.

Now Adobe is integrating image, video, and PDF creation capabilities directly into Slack.
With this integration feature, users can complete Adobe content creation directly in Slack by simply entering basic commands, with all operations carried out by Slack’s built-in AI assistant, Slackbot. For example, if you want to turn a marketing post into a promotional poster, just tell Slackbot what you need, and it will automatically determine and call the most suitable Adobe tool to get the job done. These tools include Firefly, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as more than 70 other integrated Adobe services.

One of the biggest advantages of this integration is that Slackbot can understand the work context. It automatically analyzes information from relevant conversations, Slack Canvas, and shared documents, saving users from having to repeatedly input background information. In addition, it can also search your Creative Cloud asset library, find existing assets by theme, style, or even mood, and directly import them into the current conversation for further editing.
Many tedious and repetitive tasks can also be greatly simplified, such as batch-editing product images, adapting approved ad creatives to different platform specifications, or converting raw spreadsheets into professional content ready to share with clients. The entire creative collaboration process can be completed within Slack, without the need to constantly switch between tools.

Adobe stated that Adobe for Slack is not only suitable for individual creators but also focuses on team collaboration needs. Design teams can directly review assets, provide feedback, and continuously iterate on design content within Slack channels, while staying in sync with the Adobe creative ecosystem. Enterprise users can leverage Adobe Experience Platform Agent to automate marketing and customer experience workflows within Slack.

Of course, this service is not provided for free. Enterprises need to subscribe to an eligible Slack plan (Business+ or Enterprise+), and also need to have the relevant Adobe service licenses. Before the launch of this Slack integration, Adobe had already been progressively integrating its creative tools ecosystem into ChatGPT and Claude. Adobe also revealed that it will further extend these same capabilities to the Google Gemini platform in the future.
