It has now been a full week since the first wave of Grand Theft Auto VI footage leaked, and Take-Two has officially launched a massive manhunt, but the mastermind behind it all, Cyberleek, still has no intention of keeping a low profile. In the latest wave of leaks, the hacker began calling on players to personally head to Rockstar North’s office to protest their decision to abandon physical discs, and it seems some players have indeed answered the call.
On August 24, Cyberleek released another leaked gameplay footage from Grand Theft Auto VI, showing protagonist Jason arriving at a “nudist resort,” hinting that the game will still maintain Rockstar Games’ usual high level of explicitness. But above the footage, Cyberleek added a message, hoping players would hold a “physical game disc” and bring the “scallion” representing the hacker to protest outside the offices of Rockstar Games or Take-Two.
“In addition, to show support, at least 10 players need to wear leek costumes and hold game discs during working hours, in front of the T2 or Rockstar office buildings,” Cyberleek wrote.
But as of now, there really is at least one player who actually followed these instructions and went to Rockstar North’s office as Cyberleek requested.

Based on the latest post from Twitter user Reece_US, a young man showed up at the Rockstar North office in Scotland carrying some leeks, filmed himself standing in front of the building, and loudly demanded that Cyberleek release footage related to the beach scene in Grand Theft Auto 6. He then took a bite out of the leek in his hand, becoming yet another bizarre new development in the whole leak saga.
While Cyberleek continues to release new leaked footage, the internet is also flooded with chaotic rumors and gossip, including fake AI-generated footage, malware and Trojans disguised as downloads for a leaked version of Grand Theft Auto 6, and reports that Cyberleek has implemented some kind of safety measure on his computer that would publicly release a playable leaked version of GTA 6 if he gets arrested.
Although Take-Two and Rockstar Games have not yet issued any response regarding this incident, many signs indicate that they have already launched a large-scale investigation into Cyberleek, even going so far as to subpoena Microsoft and Discord. As for how the entire situation will develop from here, all we can do is quietly wait for what comes next. In the meantime, players can still look forward to the Grand Theft Auto 6 preview showcase scheduled for August 28 on Netflix.
