Google’s newly launched Gemini 3.5 Flash model has significantly improved coding capabilities, surpassing the previous generation, and its AI agent capabilities can compete with rivals like GPT-5.5, so many people have likely been trying it out in Antigravity recently. However, after Google introduced the new “compute-based” usage limits, many users quickly hit their quota. As a result, Google soon announced in the community that it would triple the usage limit, and not just once, but twice in a row, meaning 3×3 = 9 times.

Google Announces for the Second Time: Antigravity Paid Users’ Gemini Model Rate Limits Tripled
Varun Mohan at Google DeepMind, who oversees Antigravity, previously announced on X that Google has tripled the rate limits for Gemini models across all paid plans in Antigravity, and has also reset all users’ weekly Gemini quotas.
This adjustment can be seen as a response to many users quickly maxing out their limits after the new usage caps went live.
As a result, it wasn’t long before Google announced a second increase in investment.
In Varun Mohan’s second post, he mentioned that Google had already tripled the Antigravity limit the previous day and had seen people build more as a result. However, Google also received another piece of feedback: some people were worried they would hit the weekly limit after just a few sessions. Therefore, Google decided to triple the weekly Gemini quota for all paid plans again and reset the Gemini quotas for all paid plans once more.

Another thing to note is that this quota increase applies to paying Antigravity users; the free tier, of course, doesn’t get this kind of benefit. As for whether this 9x usage increase has a time limit, Varun Mohan said when it was first raised that it is “permanent.”
This time, Google twice raised the usage limits for Antigravity’s Gemini models, which to some extent reflects a trend: AI development tools are becoming increasingly powerful, but the computational costs behind them are also rising, making it impossible to continue measuring usage by the old “number of requests” standard. Some netizens also believe that price increases may happen in the future.
