HONOR officially announced its landing in Taiwan today (17th). As the world’s top AI device ecosystem leader, HONOR will launch its new flagship model HONOR Magic8 Pro in its first wave, which combines powerful hardware specifications with cutting-edge AI technology to create a more intuitive and smoother smart experience. HONOR Magic8 Pro is launched in three colors: sunburst gold, azure, and velvet black. The appearance design is inspired by the vast universe, and the camera module is integrated into the vocabulary of high-end watches to present a delicate craftsmanship. The body adopts a 2.5D slightly curved screen and is only 75mm wide. It is HONOR’s narrowest flagship model to date, with a more comfortable grip and cleaner lines. HONOR Magic8 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 flagship platform and a new generation of silicon-carbon battery technology. The battery capacity exceeds 7,100mAh and is combined with the HONOR AI smart power management system to bring more durable and stable battery life. When paired with original charging equipment, it supports up to 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging.
The 6.71-inch rounded-corner design screen is made of HONOR glass and has passed SGS five-star drop and scratch resistance certification. It has high strength and durability; the peak brightness reaches 6,000 nits, and it is still clearly visible under strong light. With the built-in personalized display function, users can customize the contrast and color according to their personal visual experience, making the screen visual effects a customized experience. In addition, Magic8 Pro supports cross-ecological transmission with Mac, iPad and other devices, breaking through system limitations and creating a truly seamless cross-platform experience.
HONOR continues to deepen its mobile imaging technology and has launched a strategic cooperation with ARRI, a leading global cinematography brand, to reshape mobile imaging standards. Magic8 Pro inherits HONOR’s pursuit of image aesthetics and is equipped with a 200-megapixel Ultra Night super-sensitive telephoto lens. It adopts a large-size sensor, a large aperture and a high-standard optical structure, and introduces a nano-level coating process to present clear-cut and detailed image quality even in low-light or complex light source environments. The new AiMAGE imaging system further enhances the shooting experience. Its 80 million reasoning capabilities per second can accurately analyze light and shadow and light and dark levels, making night shots more natural and clear. The main lens and telephoto lens have CIPA 5.5 level anti-shake, which greatly improves the shooting success rate. In terms of portraits, AiMAGE uses 12 billion model parameters for skin texture optimization, light and shadow restoration and spot simulation, presenting a more layered master-level portrait effect.
Magic8 Pro has built-in profound AI technology, which has greatly upgraded everything from image creation to daily operations. The film-level AI color tracking function can instantly analyze the tones of photos and convert your favorite image style into a sustainable and personalized color style with one click; AI retouching supports object removal, screen expansion, image quality improvement and depth of field adjustment, all with one click.
The new “AI Any Door” makes operations more intuitive: Long press the screen content or use the side AI button to quickly call cross-App functions, such as messaging, search, sharing or navigation, which can reduce about 30,000 repeated operations a year and significantly improve efficiency. In terms of security, Magic8 Pro has industry-leading AI anti-fraud capabilities and can accurately identify AI face-swapping. It is the first smartphone with AI anti-fraud capabilities. The fuselage is also equipped with the industry’s only dual 3D security unlocking mechanism and has passed EU payment-level security certification.
