If you frequently use Google’s productivity web app tools, learning and using shortcut keys can save you a lot of time using the app, allowing you to complete tasks more easily and quickly. Now, Google is making some changes to the shortcut keys. Although some combinations are more difficult to press, overall from the user’s point of view, the new changes are obviously reasonable. This time we help you sort out a series of new shortcut keys for Google Drive, hoping to make you even more powerful.

Google Drive now has a new set of shortcut keys
Google has launched an improved set of shortcuts for the web version of Drive, and the new set of shortcuts currently being rolled out to users are actually very similar to the original shortcuts. The difference between the shortcut keys and the new shortcut keys is that you now need to hold down the modifier key (Alt on Windows, Option on macOS) when entering the shortcut key. The other shortcut keys are slightly different, but the main idea is that they no longer start with a letter key, but with a modifier or function key.

All of these changes were made to enable initial navigation. If you want to highlight items in Google Drive that start with a specific letter, just enter that letter. The full list of modified shortcuts is as follows:
