If you want to run it locally, according to the intro, Z-Image-Turbo runs fully on consumer GPUs with 16GB VRAM. First, let me test the Chinese text part. The image below is the result generated by Gemini. The prompt I gave was very simple, only: help me design a “buy one get one free coffee” poster, and the content font must be Traditional Chinese. The poster generated by Gemini is quite good.
I fed the same prompt into Z-Image-Turbo, and it only generated an image with the text “咖啡買一送一” (Buy One Get One Free Coffee). The Traditional Chinese characters came out perfectly, but there was no design at all. This shows that you need to give it more image descriptions.
